I know they are overpriced but curious anyway. Currently on Mat leave and looking for another option to get a cardio workout in at home. I don't quite have room for a treadmill but a Peloton would work well in the space.
I got one last month and LOVE it. Its actually not that bad - you can finance the bike with zero interest. I use it a ton, and you can do so much more with the membership/app than just bike. If theres a store near you, go check it out.
I love the flexibility of it and the instructors are not only good but very diverse in style. There are a million different kinds of classes, and length of classes. I am SO glad i got it.

My co-worker has one and has had it for a couple years. She LOVES it. I think she got it around the time she had her 2nd LO to help get her motivated. I know they are pricey, but if I think if you're actually using it regularly, I think the cost is more justifiable. Kind of like buying a nice/fun road bike.
I was considering one for a while for after baby, but I think I'm leaning more towards a fancy Kickr trainer so I don't have to store both my road bike and a spin bike. Plus, both my H and I could use the trainer, whereas I don't think he would use the Peloton as much.
I will say, I've been to a handful of spin classes and they aren't really my style, so that is another factor for my thoughts as well.

Two of my co-workers have them and rave about how awesome they are. I do like the interface and how it's easy to select the classes based on time and intensity.

I use the app on a cheap spin bike I already owned. You don’t get the leaderboard, but it’s half the monthly cost of the bike subscription (which is on top of the up front bike costs). Might be something to consider.
