Hi all!! I’m 26w tomorrow and the last 2 or 3 days there has been less movement overall, and less strong movement than I’ve been feeling the last few weeks.
My last check up was last Friday and all was fine. I know sometimes this can be due to a change in baby’s position and I do feel some movement, just less.
When should I be concerned? I know I can call the dr and ask to be seen, but I’m trying really hard to not give in to anxiety...

This happened to me around a similar time and he had turned to face the back which I meant I wasn’t feeling movement. It was like 2 days of minimal and 1 day of nothing it seemed and I finally called. They always tell me better to call and it be nothing. I have a hard time doing it but they’re really ok. She said people call at like 12-6 AM with even less concerns lol. But also at 26 weeks movement doesn’t need to be consistent. I think from 28 onwards it’s supposed to be.
I am 26 and something and was a little worried about the same thing, I either barely feel him or its a real party in there, but I went yesterday for my GD test and everything was fine. I agree that if you don't feel like its enough or are very worried, its better to call and have it be nothing.
I was at L&D for decreased movement for twin A yesterday (was 27W5D). Of course as soon as they stuck the monitors on, baby girl started kicking around. They had me drink apple juice and that got them both going like crazy. I would suggest laying down for 20-30 minutes, drink some juice and just pay attention to your belly. If that doesn’t help, definitely call. Always better safe than sorry!
Thanks all - I finally got home from work, drank cold water and chilled on the couch. Got some pretty strong kicks so I feel better!
What a mindf*ck this can be - I wanted to feel movement so I would have more reassurance that things were ok, now I’m 2nd guessing how MUCH movement and the type... guess it’s just the beginning in a lifetime of worry!

I dealt with a similar thing a couple weeks ago (around 27-28 weeks)! It was about 2-3 days, over a weekend of course where little guys movement was so much less frequent than normal. Then starting the next day his been crazy active. I just had a check up a few days ago and he's flipped around, so I think it had to do with his change in positioning and not being able to feel movement in the same way.
Definitely messes with your mind! But I'm glad everything feels normal now
