I just got miles tickets for two weeks in England and France next summer and want to start looking at places to stay. We will be traveling with our girls (8 and 10 at the time)
I will be the first to admit we are typical Americans and the bed sizes are going to be a struggle. My husband snores like a buzzsaw and I had a spinal fusion a few months ago, so finding a place with at least two double or queen beds is important. I just can't do sofa beds/air mattresses etc. Typically when we travel we get a room with two queen beds and we each sleep with a kid (so romantic right?). So many of them that I've seen say multiple beds but only 1 is a real bed and the others are sofa/air mattress/futon/etc.
I know I'm picky but does anyone have any airbnbs that they've stayed at that they liked that might be worth a look for us?
"Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you've got a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies-"God damn it, you've got to be kind.”
You can usually see the beds on AirBnB in the photos.
I know that. The reason I posted is there's no way that I can see to screen out air mattresses and sofa beds. And there are so many listings so I thought I'd see on a board of travelers if anyone had stayed at a place that might work for us.

You can filter AirBnB by bedrooms and not just beds. I find this helps a lot as almost no one lists a bedroom without an actual bed in it, but so many places say "3 beds" and you think it will be great, but turns out it is just a studio with a twin bed, couch, and air mattress.

Thank you! That's what I was struggling with and since I also couldn't see a way to stop showing certain properties, after a while they all blend together and I keep looking at the same places.

Just wanted to say thank you again now that I've had a chance to look. This helped immensely!
I totally understand the struggle. I book all our places based on sleeping arrangements. We are a family of 5 and DH and I do not sleep well together in a small bed even though we're fairly small people. My girls also get along much better if they have their own bed vs. sharing a double or queen.
Going back and looking at the listing it says double bed for both bedrooms but they were definitely not doubles. We had no problems sleeping in them. Unless they have changed the beds since we were there.

I think the bed thing is European. They say double but most of the time it’s queen or king.

Thanks - yeah that's a little bigger than we'd need. But I appreciate you sharing the link.
rupertpenny your suggestion helped immensely! I found and booked a place that I'm pretty happy with. I will likely keep looking because I'm an OCD vacation planner, but at least I found something that I think would work out well. Looking for two bedrooms compared to just a number of beds made the difference. Thanks again.
