I found an adorable and reasonably priced airbnb that fits our needs in terms of beds, space, location and price; however, it doesn't have a/c. What is weather typically like in late May? They have fans in all the rooms but having never been there at that time of year I'm unsure of what it's actually like. I've looked at historical weather and it says 70s but wanted to hear from anyone who lives/been there at that time.
With climate change who knows (the heat wave gripping Europe the last couple of weeks is no joke!), but in the three years I lived in London we were usually fine with fans, especially in May.
Thanks!
I found the same place on booking.com, and they allow you to cancel up until the week before, so I think I'm going to grab it and then can decide later on if it still makes sense for us.

May very rarely gets above mid-70s, so I would just ask for a fan (also good for noise control). I think I've had 4 days of 80s in May in my 15 years here.
I was just there a few weeks ago (first week of July). There was a heatwave before and after we got there but the weather was fine, even a bit cool - high 60s/low 70s - when we were there. We couldn’t work the A/C where we stayed and we were okay. I think you’ll be fine, barring a heatwave.

And there has NEVER been a heatwave in my last 15 years in May. High 70s is probably the warmest.
We were in Bristol and London during a heatwave in September three years ago (staying with family). If windows can be open (they don't do window screens there) or if there are fans you'll be fine.
