Good morning, fellow H&Fers! Who’s up this early on a Saturday?
I’m fueling for my Half marathon that starts at 8. It’s a local half (not local to be tho) and I’m side-eyeing the organizers already. Who starts a half in july at 8am? It’s so warm! Waahhhh!
Hoping to just finish and feel good about things, not aiming for a PR today. Then we are going to Niagara Falls this afternoon.
Up, drinking coffee, and starting to think about a gentle 3 miles in a local park with a shady trail. It’s not super hot here, but it’s still summer so shade is good.
It’s been a while since I’ve run, and I have no idea how far I’ll get before I walk, but I just want to hit my 3 mile distance somehow - running, walking, crawling = all good.
I need to do five miles with hills. I have a hilly and hot race coming up in August so I am trying to train during similar conditions.. I am waiting a bit until it is a bit warmer out. I am going to park at a local zoo that is along a 5 mile loop. I bought a ticket to the zoo also!
I was up way too early for an organized century ride that started at 7:30 am. My only plans for this afternoon involve the couch, a nap, and watching Le Tour De France.
