Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! My plan still seems way behind anyone else I know. Last weeks long Run was supposed to be 7 but I did 11 (6 Trail) and this weekend is supposed to be 5. Like my friends midweeks are at 8 and mine are at 3. Her marathon is earlier than mine but still....

Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! Just coming off the high from an amazing vacation and trying to lose some of the potato lbs acquired.
Any AW's or brags? Had a really amazing trip to Ireland last week. It was our first overseas trip with the kids and we survived and even had a lot of fun. I got a few runs in when I was there in Dublin, Dingle and Westport. I love running on vacation even though it's challenging logistically. It's my me time and I get a chance to enjoy the surroundings in the peaceful morning.

I wrote this wrong at first. LOL I actually have been reading plenty of books. But I haven't read a good book recently that I couldn't put down. I finally found one. I started Radium Girls. It's the story of girls that worked to make watch dials when radium was used and how they were poisoned by it. It's very good and very heartbreaking at the same time. I've read a lot of history about this time period, but had never heard this story before.
-Mighty Mosquito 99 mile Relay this weekend, 15ish trail miles (broken up) - 3 day backpacking trek ~ 30 miles - Wineglass Half in Oct -Late November I'm planning to run around my 4th Finger Lake, which lake TBD, but probably 20ish miles

Hmm the last really good book I couldn't out down was 7-1/2 deaths of Evelyn Hugo. I've also really been enjoying the Mercy Thompson series by Patrica Briggs.

Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! I love summer. But OMG this oppressive heat and humidity is killing me slowly. My half marathon last Saturday was in full on sun and it was 85* out. I had to walk/run (and there was a LOT more walking than running) the last 5.5 miles. It was awful.
Any AW's or brags? I finished my half marathon on Saturday even though it was hot and horrible. It was my slowest yet, but I’m pretty proud of my overall time given how much walking I did. I even came in the top 40% which makes me feel like EVERYONE was struggling, b/c my time was really not that good. But I got a free glass of wine at the end, which was nice.
Bonus: It's been a long time since I read a book that I couldn't put down. I started a book recently that I can't put down. Have you read any good books lately? H&F or non H&F? Spilled Milk. It was a little disturbing, and it was based on a true story, but it kept me interested until the end. Also, I just finished listening to Genuine Lies by Nora Roberts. It’s an old book, that I read years and years ago, and I’m so disappointed it’s over. LOL.
