Happy Friday! Any plans for the weekend?

We just got back from hearing the baby’s heartbeat and doctor says everything looks good. We’ll probably go to the pool this weekend and maybe pick out some colors for the baby room to see what we like. Thinking about mint green and gray.

I have a date tonight with the hot guy. I'm excited about it.

Tomorrow I'm meeting my contractor to talk status and next steps. That won't take long though. I hope the weather is good so I can get some beach time in.

Nothing planned for Sunday.

Yesterday was the start of my weekend. Today I'm getting my car washed, taking my cats to the vet, and then going to an early dinner with my two trainees from this past school year. Dance after that, then driving up to my parents' house. Tomorrow I'm going to the outdoor symphony with them for the Tchaikovsky Spectacular with fireworks. It's an annual tradition that used to fall on my birthday weekend, but we still go every year. Sunday I'm driving back and going to work.

Okay, I am not sick much anymore except for if I go too long without eating and I have more energy lately. Been plagued with migraines this week and growing uterus pains. This is not a walk in the park!!

Glad you are feeling better generally but sorry to hear about the migraines.  I'm sure that's really hard when you can't take your normal medications.

The date went really well.  We met for dinner and at the start of the date he asked me if I would let him pay.  He said he didn't want it to be awkward at the end so he just wanted to put it out there.  After, since we were really close to my place, I took him over to show him.  It's a disaster right now because of the renovation so it didn't feel like bringing him home on the first date.  We were standing on the balcony looking at the ocean and he said, "I'd really like to kiss you."  So yeah, that happened.  And it was really good.

We actually went out again Saturday night as well.  We met at a local winery and tasted wines and had a light dinner.  After we went and sat on the beach for a while.  He's really cool.  Great communicator.  He's gone for work now for a little more than 6 weeks.  He made sure to explain exactly why he'd be gone so long and how it's unusual to be gone this long because he recognized I might wonder about it even without me asking.  I really liked that.
