What are you training for? Date? Richmond Marathon 11-16 Trail 50k January
Training schedule for the week? I did a 3 mile speedwork, will do a 5 miler and Saturday I have a trail 15k. I’ll lift or do CF two times.
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! The schedule is just tricky this week but nothing major.
Any AW's or brags? I’m not sure how this is viewed here but I know a few of you have had things done. My plastic surgery consults are tomorrow. I’m looking at a definite tummy tuck, maybe breast implants and possibly inner though lipo. The only reason for the last one is for running. I’m going to 3 different doctors and I’ll choose who and what, then the surgery and other decisions will come in April.
Bonus: Where did summer go? Any fun plans before summer ends? I go back to work in...oh nooooo!! Less than 2 weeks! That’s really sad. I love summer with my 3 kids. The oldest has fencing camp this week and I’m just enjoying my last week with them all. Pools, splash pad at the gym, movies, etc.
What are you training for? Date? Cyclocross (CX), The season starts at the end of Sept., #crossiscoming
Training schedule for the week? Sunday: 2+ hour mountain bike ride Monday: Yoga Tuesday: Track/velodrome race Wed.: CX Intervals Thursday: Off Friday: Criterium road race-Pro/1/2/3 race (My club is a sponsor or I would not be doing this against the Pros on a Friday night.)
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! I will get slaughtered Friday night.
Any AW's or brags? I had a really good race night at the track last Friday for one of our big races.
Bonus: Where did summer go? Any fun plans before summer ends? Summer won't be over in Georgia until Nov. We had 90s into mid October last year. A friend is having another big pool party/BBQ next weekend, which is always fun. No trips, though.

Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! I just found out that the yoga teacher training that I was planning on doing in the fall has been canceled, so now I'm not really sure what to do with myself
Any AW's or brags? I just started thinking about training plans for the Richmond half, and I am really going to push for a sub 2 hour finish. I have a couple more weeks before my plan officially starts, but I think I should be able to do it!
Bonus: Where did summer go? Any fun plans before summer ends? We're going to Pittsburgh this weekend to visit my brother's family, and next week we're going to hit King's Dominion at least twice. Then bring on kindergarten!

What are you training for? Date? Chicago Marathon 10/13 - OMG that's exactly 2 months/60 days from now. EEK!
Training schedule for the week? Mon: Rest Tues: 7.5 miles with 10x600 repeats Wed: 4 miles Thurs: 5 miles Fri: Rest Sat: 16 miles Sun: 4 miles
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! My IT band issues are coming back to haunt me. Or maybe it's my lack of consistent strength training is coming back to haunt me. I skipped my Sunday run to strength train, stretch, and foam roll, and I managed to "fix" my knee but I still over did it and my thighs are unhappy. LOL
Any AW's or brags? I hit my intervals today! Of course, I did them on the treadmill due to the weather, but still, I hit them!
Bonus: Where did summer go? Any fun plans before summer ends? I'm leaving in ~10 days to take a road trip with my dad to visit my sister. I'm already dreading it, haha. Having said that, I'm looking forward to the time away from work and my "everyday" life for a bit.
What are you training for? Date? Postpartum base building
Training schedule for the week? M - 40 minute run T - rest W - 40 minute run R - 20 minute run F - rest or maybe run S/S - will see plus strength+core on run days
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! Running by heart rate means going sooo slow. I know it has benefits but its hard to wrap my head around.
Any AW's or brags? Not really.
Bonus: Where did summer go? Any fun plans before summer ends? I have two more weeks of mat leave (OMG) and DS starts second grade on Monday. I would like the temps to get out of the 90s so it is easier to get outside with DD during my last few weeks off.

What are you training for? Date? Wineglass Half Marathon on 10/6
Training schedule for the week? Mon: rest Tues: ladder workout Wed: yoga Thurs: 40 min race pace run Fri: yoga Sat 7 miles Sun: 40 min recovery run
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! Nope!
Any AW's or brags? I've never been a fast runner. When I joined this training group, we did a hard mile to determine our pace group and I was shocked I did it at a 8 min/mile. At the ladder workout last night, my 1200m time was a 7:50 min/mile. Given I was completely pushing myself at the 400m, 600m and 800m I was REALLY happy with this. If I was rested I could totally do a sub 8:00 full mile.
Bonus: Where did summer go? Any fun plans before summer ends? Holy schnikes it went fast! Nothing really planned as we are doing a complete gut of our kitchen on 9/16. All of our money and time will be used for the budget and making final selections on stuff.

Any AW's or brags? Nope
Bonus: Where did summer go? Any fun plans before summer ends? Yeah it's dropped about 10-15 degrees here the last couple of days and it's felt a little like Fall. I am not ready for it! We have friends coming up this weekend with their kids to hang out and go to a local amusement place. Next weekend is a good friends wedding.
What are you training for? Date? Trail Half Marathon 9/7, JFK 50 miler 11/23
Training schedule for the week? Mon - 4 mi, Tues - 4 mi, Wed - 4 mi, Thur - Rest, Fri - 10 mi, Sat - 5 mi, Sun - Rest
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! My legs are tired! It's an easy week that I definitely need. But last week took a lot out of me and I'm a little worried about what's coming.
Any AW's or brags? H took the kids to Maine so I was kid and husband free for the weekend. I got an amazing amount done. Ran 20 miles Friday, ran 10 miles Saturday, stained the entire playset (that took up the bulk of my weekend) I even did a few fun things including going out with friends in DC and binged the last 7 episodes of OITNB.
Bonus: Where did summer go? Any fun plans before summer ends? The kids are in Maine this week so H and I went to a Nats game Tuesday and shelled out for the good seats. Friday we're going to go to Jazz in a park in DC. We used to do it every week before kids and have not been since having DS.
