DD wants a pair of the athletic leggings in black. Not cotton leggings. Her waist is about a size 4 of XS. Her 7/8 pants are too short. Any idea where to start looking?
186momx , I've also gone the other way. Where I purchase the leggings for length and then take in the waist. Like I'm not super good at sewing, and don't remove any fabric, so it can be taken out later. But just put a few stitches in a few places to make the waist tighter. I did that with some of DD's skirts, and now am letting them out as she grows. Like I just fold in the waist band a little bit and put a few stitches in by hand.
DD has been wearing this one pair of jeggings since she has been 2. At 2 they were too long so I rolled them up at the ankles. At 3 they fit perfect as an easy looking pair of jeans. At 4 they were ankle pants during the winter and summer a longer capris fit. Summer she age 5, 6 & 7 they were perfect capris pants. I tried to toss them into the too small box this summer when we dug out her summer stuff but she tried them on and they still fit and look great at 8. I swear its a pair of magical jeggings.
She loves pairing her short leggings with boots and then having them be capris when they get really short over the summer. I'm just looking for something new for fall that won't fall down when she walks but fits her longer legs.
