1. R and I are going to see Barenaked Ladies and Hootie and the Blowfish this week and my teenaged self is sooooo excited!

2. I'm getting excited for hoodie weather...and for DS to get his ass back into a routine!

1) I have the written portion of my Match dating profile ready to go. I just need to get the photos figured out, since I've lost so much weight this year.

2) I got invited to a K9 fundraiser through one of my coworkers. He specifically invited me, which I appreciate. It's like I'm becoming part of the group, a little at a time. I think it's because his wife is in the same grad program I did and I told him I'll happily talk with her any time about it and offer help/support however I can.

doriswe, ha! I was actually thinking last night that I was excited for hoodie weather. And then I woke up to a high of 87 today. Whomp whomp.

1) We had to apply for a variance for our shed and the hearing was last night. As there was only 4 cases on the docket and our case plus one other was done in the first 5 minutes, we stuck around for the decision. WOOBOY am I glad we stuck around! The third case was better than a reality tv show. It was a bunch of rich dudes sitting around going back and forth about a house with an overall height of 45' because of a walk out basement. They were getting all snippy with each other and were borderline yelling. It was great. I wanted popcorn.

2) I took my pupster to the vet yesterday and her numbers dropped more so we had to up her meds to the original dose. Sigh. We were trying to taper her down. I feel so bad for her as they are hard on her little body.

1. Going to a great restaurant for dinner with work people tonight. It's run by one of last year's top chef contestants!

2. I had my first consult for bariatric surgery yesterday. Most likely will have it done in 4 months. Eeeeee

1. I can not wait for Friday. I am riding down in a chartered bus with all my Atlanta United Supporter friends to see the Orlando City game and Saturday going to Harry Potter World.

2. Sunday I'm still going to be hanging with the above friends and tubing down the river, recovering.

1. I left work early Friday as I felt like shit and I am still home sick today. I have a sinus infection and bronchitis.

2. Apparently in my highly medicated state this past weekend I did a bunch of online shopping that I do not recall doing. I mean it is stuff that I have been looking at and keeping in my cart but I have no recollection of ever actually completing the sales. Boxes should start arriving later today and I am kind of excited about this. HAHA!!

1. Work is ramping up again - at least for the moment and it's nice to be busy again. It was so nice having a chill spring and early summer with my home chaos, but I can't maintain that forever.

2. Went to a concert Sunday night with girlfriends and it was amazing. So much fun and just great spending 24 hours just with those two. They are so funny, smart, amazing, and my rocks. However, I haven't spent a weekend at home since late June and my house/yard want all the attention. Summer is too short for us northern climate people.

PS Thanks doriswe,for the response in the other thread. It's tough navigating the dating world with kids in tow - especially when you start dating a friend that you (and your kids and entire extended family) already knew before dating.

I need to add!
1. DS cleaned his room and did his laundry with minimal nagging today and then asked me if I had towels that need to be washed because he figured he could do those too! Who is this kid??

2. Tough Mudder #7 is this weekend and I think it's the first time I'm feeling excited about one lol.

I'm not sure if I mentioned in another thread but I went out twice with the young guy. I like him but he's soooooo young. I'm not sure I care though. He's gone now for 6 weeks for work. We've been in touch but I really want to spend time with him again.

My contractor is saying he still thinks we're on tracking timing wise with my renovation. If anything we might go over just one week. I'm in California for work this week and am expecting great progress when I get home. I land at midnight and am seriously thinking I'll stop by there before I go back to my parents' house. I can't wait to see it!
