I’ll be 42 next week. I just did a speed set because I never do them. I’m more of a distance gal. The set was 6x100 on 6 minutes. Lots and lots of rest between each 100 So you can go all out. I felt like death on the last 25 of each 100. Which I guess is the point. My splits were: 1:10 1:13 1:13 1:14 1:14 1:12
I thought I was going much slower but I’m pleasantly surprised with myself.
I did two rounds of IVF, one in April and one in July and I haven’t been consistently swimming until the end of July. My body felt horrible up until then. It felt so good to start swimming again and feel in shape again !
