I don’t know if you’re into it, and you’re technically very early compared to the program guidelines, but the Hypnobabies program has been very useful for falling asleep at night. I don’t know if I’m actually going into hypnosis, but I frequently do pass out while listening to the tracks.
Otherwise I found my insomnia improved a lot through the second trimester as I became more physically tired. Now that I’m near the very end it is back full force but that is mostly a function of stress, heartburn, and sheer physical discomfort.
I’m sorry you are struggling. Not sleeping is the suck.

I’m sorry- that’s the worst. I’m not sure how far along you are, but like PP said, my insomnia improved tremendously as I got into second trimester more.

I'm 18w and it's getting worse I'm also not one of the lucky ones where symptoms ease up much, though. I still need medicine to keep food down.

I had terrible insomnia in the beginning, then it got better and now it’s coming back with my 3rd tri. I really don’t have much advice as I haven’t found anything that worked for me. A friend did recommend Natural Calm, but it didn’t work for me (its a powder you add to water before bed...all natural). I hope yours gets better, it definitely sucks!
