2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? My boobs are just starting to get sore, so that’s fun.
3. Questions for the group? Nope.
4. Where are you planning to give birth (hospital, birthing centre, home), and who will you have with you (OB, midwife, doula)? Hospital again. Hopefully my OB this time.
Congratulations!
Thanks! I’m excited but freaking out still. I’m trying not to tell anyone until I tell my parents and we’re not telling them until after our first appointment. So here I am. Lol I needed to let it out
2. I failed my early one hour glucose so I have to do the three hour. And find time to do the three hour. Both my kids had a stomach bug over the weekend, so we are just coming out the other side of that.
3. Nope!
3. At the hospital. With an epidural. Just my husband and whatever provider from my group (they have OBs and a midwife) happens to be there.

1. How far along are you? 25w, #3
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? This baby moves SO much. Like.. violently. I felt almost motion sickness this weekend because of the movement. Totally visible from the outside too. At my ob appt Tuesday the baby was totally still, but as soon as the ob touched the Doppler to my belly it started kicking the Doppler away. She wasn’t even pushing! Anything touching me gets kicked (including big sister’s head yesterday morning 🤣)
3. Questions for the group? Does anyone have experience with diseases recti? I’m not familiar with it, other than hearing the basics. The last week or two if I have spent a lot of time standing my core starts aching and feels like my abs are splitting. Does this sound like it? Is there anything I can do (bc not standing isn’t really an option a lot of the time...). I do rest as much as possible, but 🤷🏼♀️
4. Where are you planning to give birth (hospital, birthing centre, home), and who will you have with you (OB, midwife, doula)? Hopefully another VBAC at the Hospital with an OB. My two main obs that I love & delivered the other two left the big group and started their own practice since my 4yo was born. They deliver at a new hospital now, which I’m kind of excited about bc it’s big and looks a lot nicer (we do a tour in a month or so). BUT it’s also 45m away vs 20 for the last hospital. Annoying. Luckily my kids seem to need to forced out early & the drive shouldn’t be an issue during delivery.

humpforfree I wonder if a belly support belt wouldn’t help to support your ab muscles as well. A lot of the guides for DR avoidance talk about making sure you don’t use your abs directly to get up and move around. I can’t recall if there is any particular product that helps though.

I’m waiting to have my stretch and sweep today. It was supposed to be yesterday but my midwives were all in L&D dealing with another birth. I doubt this will work (it didn’t do anything for DD) but it’s a step.
