Hi, I’m not usually on this board but I’m Overthinking things and need opinions....
I’ve carved out three hours a week to get back to the gym (it’s been about 4 years of just stroller walks/jogs or weights at home)
Ideal would be nonconsecutive days so I could do a full body weights workout. BUT some weeks that just won’t work. Baby has a full day of appointments on Thursdays, and I work one day a week which varies but is often Friday.
So this week I could only do the gym Mon Tues Wed.
Trying to decide if I should stick to full body workouts and just only do 2 some weeks.
Or focus on muscle groups and lift on consecutive days if I have to
Or just do what works each week with no really plan.

Weeks that you know you have three days-- One day upper, one day lower, one day full body
Weeks that you have only two days you can choose, either upper / lower or 2 x full body. *I* would do the full body because it's my preferred workout anyway, but it really depends on your goals.
