Hi! I’m coming to London in November. Getting in early Friday 11/22 flying back out the morning of the 27th. I have tickets for Les Mis at the Gielguld Tuesday evening.. other than that the whole trip is wide open! Other suggestions welcome! I do want to do Westminster, Buckingham etc.
I was originally looking at the Goodenough (someone on gbcn had recommended it) but I’m second guessing myself.
Also, what will the weather be like? What do I pack?

What's your budget? Weather in November can be up and down, but plan on cold rain and grey. Probably in the 40s for both day and night. It can get into the 30s and below or above the mid-50s but that's not typical (then again, nothing is typical at this point). Don't bring an umbrella as it's windy and it'll turn inside out - bring a lined waterproof jacket with a hood if you can.
I'd also look at Airbnb's as they will give you a kitchen which is nice for morning drinks/breakfast so you don't have to eat out all the time.

winelady , I'd definitely do an Airbnb then. There are many that would work for you for under $200 a night. There are lots of great places. Here's a few links:

For tips on things to do, I'd do a search of the boards for "London." There are a ton of previous threads with good info to get you started and we can answer any more specific questions from there.

I recently stayed at Sea Containers London. I really liked it. Central location. My partner has stayed there several times and has always had a good experience there as well.
Thanks everyone. I did find some old posts and I’m making a list! My first solo trip ever and I’m very excited!
I live in London so if you need anything, please feel free to message me. My first trip to London was as a solo trip and I loved it. I'm happy to meet up for a drink or dinner as well - agnes will assure you I'm not a weirdo.
You can also get a good feel for restaurants you'd be interested in using opentable.co.uk and make reservations through them too.
It may be a little more than you want to spend, but we stayed at The Montague on the Gardens and I would highly recommend it. It was centrally located and very quaint and comfortable.
My Airbnb just cancelled on me I’m Leary to choose that option now. I had a great loft in Soho. I think I’ll stick with a hotel. Any recommendations in that general area?
Good reviews and she had more than 1 listing. She was communicating with me before I booked and right after I booked it. I asked a question and she never responded. I had a feeling but was hopeful.

That's really annoying. So sorry that happened. I'm having to use an Airbnb in London for 3 weeks while we're between selling and buying houses and I'd die if they pulled out. Hope you can find a good alternative.
