I’m 19 weeks and I had some reddish/brown spotting this morning. It wasn’t a ton, and only when I wiped, but enough to be alarming. No other major symptoms. I’m overseas -it’s 7am here- today is our last day, we fly home tonight. 11hours to JFK then another 2ish home. What would you do? Go on today’s half day tour and then call the on call doctor if it happens again? Or stay in the hotel and rest then call If it happens again?
I hate to miss the few sites this last day because they are special, but I 100% don’t want to do anything that jeopardizes baby.
UPDATE:
I went to my OB just hours after we landed in the states as I had bleeding, which turned mostly brown, throughout the day and night. She checked me and found a good strong HB immediately, so she thinks it was just a burst capillary or something. I have my anatomy scan next week, so if I have any additional bleeding between now and then, straight to ultrasound. Feeling relieved. Thanks for all the advice!
Call your OBs or doctors office and ask them their advice. I don’t know what tours you have planned but if they are strenuous I would skip them.
After some more bleeding I did call the OB line. She basically said unless it gets worse, just KOKO and tours were fine. I however just don’t want to risk dehydration or stress on my last day before the flight. So I’m just taking it easy in the hotel. I’m also too distraught to really be able to focus, so I figured resting was better.
I'm so sorry you're having this issue especially while traveling overseas. I'd probably pass on the tours for the day and rest as well if its continued. I hope its nothing major and stops!

Yes, I made DH go. He said TONS of hills/walking and it’s pretty hot here, so I am glad I didn’t go. I’ve had bleeding before but never in second trimester like this.
Could be a low placenta too - I have one and have some spotting/brown/blood discharge throughout my pregnancy so far. Hoping all is okay for your anatomy scan!

I thought about that too. I have an anterior placenta this time, so o asked if it could move a bit lower and cause this and she said no, so we’ll see what the anatomy scan says.
