Employees who buy street parking permits and then park in front of a business door for the entire work day. They don't park on the street in front of their building they do it to the neighbors who all rely on street parking for their clients. The business I'm complaining about is the only business on the street that has their own parking lot for employees and clients but have too much staff so some staff park in front of my front door blocking the street parking all day. We have free 3 hour parking on the streets by my office.

It is my Friday today. I've already worked 5 days this week. I am ready to be home by myself and do nothing. Which really means clean probably because I have an exciting life.

When someone asks me to print something in color for them. I realize I'm one of the few people in the office with access to that, but it feels ridiculously demeaning. I'm in senior leadership. Why am I printing something for someone?

When I find toothpaste smeared on my front door. WTF DDs???

Also, when you book an appointment with a contractor and they ghost you. I wasted a whole day at home earlier this week and they guy no showed, and won’t return my calls.

When there are 4 stalls in the bathroom open, and someone picks to one right beside me.

Tennis shoes/sneakers with a full blown blouse or dressy sweater and sometimes jewelry. (unless you have some orthopedic issue, but there are still better shoes than lace up running/sports shoes).

What better shoes? Asking for someone who wears orthotics in her tennis shoes. I wear black or gray so they blend in though. Flats hurt my feet, and I need traction because our parking lot at work is all ice in the winter. I’m not exaggerating on the ice- one year at least 5 people fell. That was the year I gave up on flats. I do also wear boots.

I am talking legit Nike type running, volleyball, basketball, type shoes.  Sketchers has a lot of really cute slip on or maybe even tie up but not bulky shoes.  Adidas has come out with some cute shoes too, and they are not bulky.  Plus having them in black and gray makes them more neutral.  The example in my head was a pair of  bright pink and gray shock Nikes with a peach sweater and white shirt and a string of pearls.

When you ask people at work to do something simple (i.e., include an employee's ID number when they email our department to ask us to look into something) and they repeatedly don't do it. Because they're lazy. Or they think their time is that much more important.

Hearing every.flipping.conversation that my co-workers are having around me, business-related or not. This has been my first ever experience working in a cubicle this year and damn its annoying at times. CLOSE YOUR FREAKING DOOR PEOPLE!! I am bring my earbuds tomorrow so I can tune everyone out if necessary!
