We are hoping to head back the second weekend in November, but it's dependent on DH's work trip.  It's becoming an (at least) annual trip for us.  Let me know if you have any questions.

we went to Chimney Rock last month and I was "eh" - we had a reservation and a large group (12) and they had just 1 server for the entire tasting bar.... they weren't very welcoming.

Doesn’t surprise me. I was livid during our first experience. The second visit we were treated like royalty to make up for the first visit. Both times we were with the wine club member. I don’t have a strong desire to visit again... too many other, more welcoming, places.
