My back randomly started aching last night. I’m 20 weeks. It’s too soon for this.
Also, it’s supposed to be 97degrees here tomorrow....yes, tomorrow, October 3. ::eye roll so hard:: I do live in the south, but not like S.Fla or anything, this is craziness. Looking forward to the cool front bringing 80 degree highs next week, ha!
97 here too tomorrow, are you in NC? I am planning on spending the day in the AC. I am over the heat.
I’m in GA. I was supposed to play tennis tomorrow but decided that probably wasn’t the smartest idea haha, luckily we found a sub pretty easy. So I’ll be with you enjoying the AC!

I’m in the south as well. I’m over this shit. Also I’m feeling all the aches and woke up a million times last night. I’ll be 22 weeks tomorrow. Also too early for this shit.

I'm in south GA and slowly melting away. This 90+ degrees in October is miserable, especially when pregnant.

I'm in the North East (PA) and we're also dying today with 90 degree and humid temps. It's October for crying out loud. And tomorrow? 62 and rainy. Mother nature is drunk.

I would cry happy tears for a forecast of 62 and rainy, lol. It's barely rained here in the past month and my trees and plants are struggling. I set up a sprinkler to water my gardenias today and the birds and squirrels happily frolicked in the spray.
It’s too fucking hot here. And so so humid. My kid wanted to go around the neighborhood in his little car twice and then ride his bike. I almost died.
Being induced tomorrow morning at 40+1. I’m a little nervous. I didn’t want to be induced but god dammit I don’t want to be pregnant anymore. I went into labor with DS at 38+2.

Tell me inductions are fine?
I went into labor at 39+5 with DD1 and was induced at 41+1 with DD2 I had DD2 so quick the midwife missed the delivery. It was quick and easy!

I am THRILLED for tomorrow’s weather! We desperately need rain and it’s the first actual fall day we’re getting.

I was just thinking about you and wondering. Good luck tomorrow! I can’t speak from experience, but I think it’ll go fine!

Can I add another? At my anatomy scan yesterday, there was one area (upper right abdomen) that was sensitive and made me jump when she pushed there. At first I just thought it was baby over there and he was flipping since it wasn’t necessarily “painful” but today it’s sore and achy in the same spot. U/s tech brushed it off as “third baby, I think it’s just your uterus being irritatable” but now I’m starting to think it’s something more.
Yesterday morning I got extremely dizzy and nauseous, and my extremities started to feel numb/tingly. I felt like I needed to eat and felt better after like 30min. I also started to have back pain ((see first complaint, ha)) last night.
Of course when I google all these symptoms it says preeclampsia. My BP was like 106/70 yesterday though? No headache really either.

Ugh, at least it’s not just us? This is crazy though.

Growth scan today- my prediction was correct that the tech couldn’t get some measurements bc this kid moves too much. She also kept saying how big and round it’s belly is and asked if I’ve been hungrier than normal lately. And the hubby cheeks & it was making chewing motions with its mouth. Measuring over 2 weeks ahead and over 3 lbs already (28w tomorrow). My other two always measured ahead also & had to be delivered(low fluid) at 37 & 38 weeks (38 weeker was over 9lbs).... so I’m really hoping that means this one is on track for an earlier delivery also... I am way too sore to go another 12 weeks. 10 max please.

I’m also measuring over two weeks ahead with a super active baby, and omg my groin hurts! 5 more weeks of waddling...
swiftlyirun - give your OB a call. Those symptoms would def scare me. Better safe than sorry!
I’ve had a spot on my lower right abdomen that I’ll get severe pain in sometimes. No other symptoms though, the added symptoms would warrant a call or visit to my doctor.
I was so so close to finding out the sex of this baby today.
I have an anterior placenta, and the doctor was having a hard time getting a good heartbeat on the Doppler, so she did an ultrasound. She was looking around, pointing out different parts and asked if I was planning to find out the sex...I said yes and she tried for a while, but the umbilical cord was in the way. I would have felt guilty finding out without my husband there with me, but I got so excited for a minute there.
knx9211, I was induced with DS (my second) and from start to end it was 4 hours, with less than 5 minutes of pushing. It was wonderful. Good luck tomorrow!
swiftlyirun, I’d call your OB. They might want to do some labs. Without high BP, it’s probably fine, but better safe than sorry.

Yea, I was at the OB for my 20week on Tuesday, so I’d guess that if I had protein in my urine or anything else weird, it would have showed up then. Also, I haven’t had the dizziness or anything else since Tuesday morning

I had my biweekly growth scan today and he fell from 6% (2 weeks ago) to 2%. So I'm basically weeping uncontrollably. It's been a really emotional week already and you think I'd run out of tears by now!
My MFM doctor is so encouraging and not an alarmist; reassured me that he is doing everything he's supposed to - rocking the NSTs and biophysicals and is growing but is just small. I'm 35+1 weeks and he's around 4.3 lbs.
She's recommending we induce at 37 so I'll schedule that tomorrow when I see my regular OB after my weekly NST.
I gotta get my rear in gear on preparing all my work for maternity leave!

chocolatepie sending you lots of hugs!! I've always gone by if the Dr doesn't seem too worried (as in she's not telling you that you need to deliver NOW), then I'm going to try not to worry...which I know is easier said than done. He's just gonna be a little peanut, so stock up on the NB clothes and diapers

Am i being a hypochondriac?
Re: the ultrasound. The same thing happened to me around 20 weeks and it felt like I was getting zapped every time the tech hit a certain spot. She said it was likely a nerve. I had many US throughout my last pregnancy and that was the only time it happened
