2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? i got a cold over the weekend and i'm miserable. sore throat, stuffy nose, sneezing, all of it. and tylenol does nothing, it's worthless. my nose hurts from all the tissues. i hope it clears out soon.

What's the next baby-related thing you plan to buy? last night we bought a bunch of stuff from our amazon registry that we made just to get a completion discount. all that should be arriving the next few days. i forgot to put on a onesie for his halloween costume though, so that's what's next! and i think that will be it until he arrives, eeeeeeeek!

1. How far along are you?
21+2
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week?
Just trying to calm my anxiety. I get horrible anxiety while I’m pregnant, I spent almost 2 year going through fertility stuff with my first (a drop in the bucket to some, i know!) but it’s just made it harder on me when I’m actually pregnant.
After my a/s I finally let myself get a little excited and bought some cute boy clothes. Also, my boobs are killing me.
3. Questions for the group?
What do you sleep with support wise?
I’m sleeping terribly. My last two kids I used the U shaped pregnancy pillow and never loved it. This time it’s just as annoying. If I use it properly, my ear hurts so bad (bizarre, I know) so I flipped it around and that’s OK, but still not much better. I’m usually a stomach sleeper, sometimes back, so pregnancy kills my sleep. Mainly just wondering if there is a better option I haven’t tried.
4. What's the next baby-related thing you plan to buy?
Probably some new maternity clothes, my stuff is rather outdated and just looking worn, this will be the 5th time it’s been worn (I wore twice, a friend borrowed and my SIL wore once) so it’s time for a few new things, mainly pants.
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? Time is really starting to speed up and I'm trying not to feel overwhelmed. I've a lot more anxiety in general with this pregnancy than with my first, and I'm trying to take deep breaths and slow down/relax.
3. Questions for the group?
4. What's the next baby-related thing you plan to buy? Tonight I'm sending the payment for a hand knit three piece set (hat, sweater, bloomers) to a friend in the UK. Completely frivolous, but it's adorable.
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? I finally got the ok to try for a vaginal delivery for now!! Also I've got an induction date of 11/11 if she hasn't shown up by then.
3. Questions for the group? None
4. What's the next baby-related thing you plan to buy? The only thing we've got left to buy is a trashcan for diapers. We just got one with a lid last time and that worked well for us.
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? She really dropped a lot late last week and feel like I didn’t realize how much I couldn’t breathe, and how much it was affecting evvvvvvvvverything.
3. Questions for the group? I asked mine earlier today about traveling this weekend. Ugh.
4. What's the next baby-related thing you plan to buy? Ummmmm... somewhere for her to sleep? We still have essentially nothing. I need to get with it. But we close on the new house Wednesday and I’m trying to keep everything together at work (despite my mom and bf wanting me to start my leave now) and baby is really the last thing on my radar right now. lol

1. How far along are you? 35+5
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? Got the induction set for next Thursday night; I'll be 37+1. Not the way I wanted it to go, and there is still a chance he hits a random growth spurt in the next week and MFM recommends waiting another week, but I'm preparing myself regardless. I have a TON of work to get done in the next week before going on maternity leave.
3. Questions for the group?
4. What's the next baby-related thing you plan to buy? We bought the rest of the "must have" items from our Target and Amazon registries over the weekend, and I've made a ton of returns from the shower, so I feel as prepared as we'll be! Don't have anything else we need until he arrives!
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? Passed the GD 1 hour (again), had a growth scan and got to see the (ginormous) baby. Annoyed that I’ve graduated to every 2 weeks appointments already. The office is 40-45 minutes away and it’s such a pain to go all the way there for a 5 minute check (pee in cup, measure belly, listen to HB).
3. Questions for the group?
4. What's the next baby-related thing you plan to buy? I’ve gotten out and washed all the nb diapers, nb and 0-3 clothes and swaddles and those are in drawers. We have a bassinet. I guess I really just need to buy my stash of infant meds and a hatch white noise machine thing. Oh I do need to sanitize all the pacifiers and bottles still too. I’m feeling pretty anxious about timing and trying to get as much done as I can early since I am due 12/26 and December always flies by, plus the fact that I usually go early and I have a bunch to do with the two big kids for Christmas...

1. How far along are you? 16w
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? Over the weekend we did a mini gender reveal with DS where we shot off one of those confetti cannons. He masked his disappointment well that it's a girl.
3. Questions for the group? None this week
4. What's the next baby-related thing you plan to buy? Ooh, I don't know. I bought my favorite Ikea highchair from a BST group last week, so I'll probably keep an eye out for more random gear like that.
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? Lots of movement and maybe some round ligament pain? Does that feel like groin stretching down the inner thigh like a rubber band?
3. Questions for the group? I’ve posted about the short cervix stuff, at my last MFM appointment last week they told me I am back in the normal range now and can resume running. I’m just nervous to do that. I think it would be best to keep walking dogs and maybe do some swimming inside if high impact running, but I do miss the running so much. What would you? I go back to the MFM for another measurement on Thursday and I guess will see if the progesterone is keeping me stable.
4. What's the next baby-related thing you plan to buy? We need a dresser and fence for our dogs so when the baby comes, I won’t have to do 3 dog walks a day!

1. How far along are you? 36+6
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? I saw a woman in obvious labor in the parking lot at my ob appt today (the office is in the same area as the hospital) and my first thought was I’m so jealous. Growth ultrasound tomorrow and to check on the fluid issue they found last week.
3. Questions for the group?
4. What's the next baby-related thing you plan to buy? I think we have everything for now. I just need to grab a few more nursing bras.

Have you tried a regular body pillow? I'm able to angle my stomach down a little bit so it's almost like I'm sleeping on my stomach.

I would be too anxious to resume my full exercise routine. I think walking and swimming is a great idea.
2. Despite being over a month away from 3rd tri, I'm tired of being pregnant and I have no right to be. I'm not uncomfortable yet of course, it's the fear and anxiety, all of the "what-ifs." Things like, "Is she kicking too much? Not enough? What's that twinge? Is that pain normal?" I thought I would feel better after the first tri blood test, then I thought I would feel better after the anatomy scan, and I just can't stop worrying. As much I'm fearing my csection, I am so eager for them to pull her out and tell me she's perfect.
3. Questions for the group? I need a bassinet recommendation for when she's in our room. I have been looking at the Halo bedside sleeper. I don't want to spend more than $175.
4. We need a second swing and a bassinet. I'm also trying to decide if I should get an additional pack and play for downstairs for diaper changes. We have our eyes on upcoming black friday ads.
lucky428 - we used the Halo bassinet with our first back in 2016 and are planning on using it again with this one. We really like it. If we didn't have that already, I'd probably want the Snuzzpod or even the Snoo, but those are both more expensive than the Halo. I think BuyBuyBaby has a selection of bassinets similar to the Halo that cost a little less. If you live near that store, it might be worth it to check out in person.

lucky428, I bought the Halo swivel at a consignment store for $100 - came with 2 mattresses, 2 mattress pads, and 2 sheets so it was a deal. There are tons listed on FB marketplace, too.
That is, if you don't mind buying something used (I totally get it if you'd prefer new only).

I am an avid runner, I ran through my prior two pregnancies and was actually ramping up marathon training before this current pregnancy. I can understand your love and *need* to run. I will say though, that with #1 I stopped running around 26 weeks due to RL pain, and I stopped around 32 weeks with #2 because it would cause BH contractions.
I say that because, at 24 weeks, you may not be far from having to quit running anyway. Or you may be able to run until delivery. I was super fit (coming off a marathon and 5 days a week of OTF) before both pregnancies and hoped to run through them, but it just didn't happen. I always switched to swimming and it was actually a nice change of pace. Running will be there when you are ready after baby take this time to be kind to yourself mind and body!

I bought a Halo on a BST group for $125 and LOVED it. I sold if because I didn't know if we were having more babies, but definitely looking for another one already!

I have, but I toss and turn so much that flipping the pillow is annoy. I realize there is no unicorn solution, but that doesn't stop me from looking for one haha!

1. How far along are you? 28 + 4
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? I am going to be a school / pregnancy vent for it’s own post, but part of me wants to quit my program entirely right now - with only 1.5 semesters left. My back feels like it is splitting in 2. The thermacare pads I got wrap around my front and barely fit around my bump. I also got a pregnancy support belt that barely fits around my bump.
3. Questions for the group?
I have an estimated induction date of 12/20, and I have no faith in my body to bounce back quickly. Is it worth investing in a winter jacket for early 2020? I have already gained 40 pounds with 11ish weeks left to go.
4. What's the next baby-related thing you plan to buy? Probably laundry detergent so I can start to wash what I have already. We want to do a 3D ultrasound for fun. Oh, and maybe the Reno to make his nursery. Everything else will probably wait until after my shower unless we see a great deal on something.

I think this depends on where you live, but FWIW, I loved having a maternity VEST that I wore on repeat. I bought a regular winter jacket (read non maternity) that had a little room to spare and I could zip over my bump for most of my pregnancy (see late March baby). I did this with my last pregnancy and didn't regret it one bit and I wore it last winter while I wasn't pregnant.
I live in GA and we only get real winter for like one week every other year, lol, but I guess we're thin skinned.
lucky428 we have the arm's reach co-sleeper which we just use as a bassinet, never actually hooked it up to the bed at all. it's like a mini pack n play that's elevated, easy to reach in and grab them at night. it's been great, takes up less space in our room.
doglove, I had funneling of the cervix at 24 weeks (so slightly different than shortening but similar). I am also a runner and had run a half-marathon at 18 weeks and was still running 4-5 miles/day at 24. My Doc who is very pro-running put me on pelvic rest and no running (just light, no impact swimming, walks, or weights) until 32 weeks despite the fact that every weekly ultrasound after the 1st one at 24 weeks showed no funneling. While my Doc may have been more conservative , I personally wouldn't risk it. If in your shoes, I would stick with swimming, lighter elliptical, long walks, and weights until you are further along. That being said long walks, light weights and hikes really didn't do the same thing for me mentally that running does, so it can be rough. Sorry you're going through that!
1. How far along are you? 35+6
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? The aches and pains are getting much worse. I had it really easy for most of pregnancy, but it has really hit me hard in the past few weeks. I developed a pretty sizable hernia which is now in pretty much constant pain, and now I have developed what seems to be sciatica or lower back pain. Just trying to really wrap things up at work by 37 weeks for fear that either I would deliver early or my doctor will ask me to stop working (probably unnecessary FTM anxiety, but it's my goal at least). We also got our maternity pics back - they are beautiful and helped with my pregnant lady confidence
3. Questions for the group?
4. What's the next baby-related thing you plan to buy? I need to finally make a decision on which Etsy prints to get for the nursery and order them tonight. I have reached another level of analysis paralysis

Thanks, swiftlyirun. I am in the Philadelphia area, so we can have a mild or very cold winter. Predictions are that it will be very cold and snowy. I think I’ll be ok through December, but I worry about January and February and don’t want to have no options for a below 0 day. But I also don’t want to spend unnecessary money. Though, I guess spending a little $$ to be warm on a 0 degree day will be worth it.

My regular OB said he didn’t care what I did after 32 weeks, it was the MFM doctor that said I could run again so I think I’ll just focus on swimming and dog walks/hiking and maybe try some cycle classes to stay low impact. I miss running already, but I’ve been waiting a long time for this baby and don’t want to do anything to jeopardize him/her at this stage of the game!

1. How far along are you? 25 weeks
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? I think the friend planning my shower has nailed down final details, so that's good.
3. Questions for the group?
4. What's the next baby-related thing you plan to buy? Need to get paint for the nursery and some prints off of Etsy. And I guess I should get some clothes because she has nothing to wear.
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week?
I got to see the little guy today. This is my second frozen embryo transfer baby and for some reason I am more nervous this time around. Maybe because my last pregnancy went pretty smooth. I felt so much relief seeing him on the ultrasound. He looks like a baby with a head, arms, and legs.
3. Questions for the group? Nothing right now.
4. What's the next baby-related thing you plan to buy?
We have a lot of things already because my older boy is only 18 months right now. But we will have to get a second pack n play, another camera, and a swing. I will probably wait until black Friday/cyber Monday though.
