Did y’all see this?  Most people in my real life don’t care about this but I knew this board would understand! 

I can’t say I’m surprised in the least that Salazar was dirty, and I’m glad he finally got caught (again). And I’ve been saying Galen Rupp was running dirty for years. It’ll be interesting to see how GR and Hasay do this weekend now, and to see where the future homes of these athletes are!

I can't say I'm surprised. Kara Goucher has been calling for this for a while now. And I think Nike wants to distance itself from the drama.

Yes, it has been going on for a couple weeks..since the beginning of the World championships.

AlSal is dirty as hell and I have a fair amount of respect for Kara Goucher but she also went to Dr Brown. Hell, she and Adam introduced Salazar TO HIM, because they knew him from their days at Colorado. The whole situation is dirty and thinking it's like this...singular event or group is crazy. Or that "clean sport" actually "is" lol.

Oh I knew he got caught weeks ago, but didn’t they just announce last night the OP was disbanding?  

I would love love to know what athletes are actually clean...

Yeah just last night.

I see people saying they are not going to support Nike anymore. I'm a neutral Nike person who owns a lot of nike gear for business reasons and..idk. the doping issue isnt "nike" it's a sport wide issue.

Athletes under every brand are or have doped AND their brand supports them!

Jenny Simpson harshly came out at worlds about the issue, talking bout lifetime bans and how athletes under NOP were of course under a cloud of suspicion.

Then when asked if she had seen Dr. Brown bc she went to CU, she claimed "medical privacy!" 😮

All this to say, I too would love a list.

There is a ProPublica article and in it you can read a report/testimony given to USADA. It has names and is very good/juicy

Rupp and Hasay dropped out!

Hasay very early on after running 22 min for the first 5k, seemingly leading the 3:08 pace group. 😳

I’m a bit behind and just started watching this not too long ago (Kosgei just passed 10k). I wonder what Hasay’s issue is...

Dumb question - does Brigid Kosgei get to pick and practice with her pacers? They’re all running so nicely together and it looks like they’ve been running together for years!

Despite the way Hasay spoke in her pre race interviews, she is micromanaged by AlSar. Like. A lot. I've heard shes also immature.

I have my own thoughts about doping within running ( anyone who thinks IRS just NOP or just Nike is insanely naive), but in this case, I think it must have been so stressful for Hasay and Rupp.


They are both coming back off extended Injuries and then they have to add in handling extra interviews, new types of questions, their dirty coach..who they trusted being gone..
I think they are both shady. I also dont think it's that surprising they dropped out. They must have been cooked.
