What's everyone up to this weekend?

It was gorgeous out the last few days...today it's cold and gloomy and talk of snow tomorrow. Boooooo!! It's too early for snow!

DD is home for the weekend, but she won't be here long, so trying to cram in as much as we can with the short amount of time we have. Tonight I'm getting her a flu shot and hopefully going to a LGBTQ+ space that's having their grand opening tonight. Dinner out some place. Tomorrow she's doing all of her laundry and we need to run errands. She needs leggings and some groceries. She's heading out Sunday morning, so I'm hoping R and I can do something since we won't see each other much this weekend.

Also, DS should be getting his temporary drivers license today. Hold me, I'm not ready for this one to drive!! I let him drive in a parking lot last weekend and it was a little scary! He panicked because there were kids on their bikes....on the sidewalk lol!

Going to a friend's house tonight for a bonfire/happy hour. Tomorrow we have plans with another couple to go out to dinner and then to a comedy show. Nothing planned for Sunday.

Random vent: I previously told my MIL NOT to stop over during the day to see the progress on the kitchen because I don't want to interrupt the contractors. Today, I get a text at 12:37p to see if they can stop over because they are "in the neighborhood". I've been on a conference call since noon so I don't respond right away. Literally two minutes later she calls me. I decline the call and then text her to say not to stop over. Literally a minute later I hear a familiar voice and look out the window to see my in laws van parked in my driveway!! They freaking stopped over and were in the d*mn kitchen!! So then I had to go downstairs, go outside, walk around to the garage and kick them out. WTF?!

As far as my weekend, earlier today I got a mani-pedi. I have a private practice session and dance class tonight. Tomorrow I'm going to Sephora with one of my friends and then hanging out with another. We're planning to get dinner and bake. I also need to do meal prepping.

Wednesday evening after work I stopped by the home of the single dad I've been dating to drop his pocket knife back off to him, since he accidentally left it at my place last Friday night/Saturday morning. He made me dinner, we snuggled on the couch and made out a little, then talked about some of the important things we hadn't discussed yet. Luckily we're on the same page about the big things thus far. I'm trying to not let my feelings run too far ahead of where things are, but I really like this guy so far. I can't help but smile when I talk about him. I'm not seeing him this weekend because he's out of town for a wedding. He was texting me from the bachelor party.

Not much for me, maybe some dog baths tomorrow and yard work. We always usually go to breakfast and lately been shopping for some cute baby things we can find.

I hope it’ll rain Sunday, we really need it. I wouldn’t mind a day to lay around on the couch either!
