Mobile Ordering for Kids question

When mobile ordering, do we have to order from the kids menu, if dd would prefer something from the regular menu? Are the total credits different per adult and kids, or are they just total credits in general? We have the regular dining plan. 

For example, if we mobile order from Pizzafari, they only have cheese pizza for kids, but dd likes pepperoni. Can I just order the regular pepperoni pizza for her?

The quick service credits for your family will all be lumped together not broken down into child or adult.* So you can order from either menu. For TS meals kids have to order from the kids menu to use their TS credit.
*this was true as of April 2019, our last trip. I would not be surprised if Disney changes this in the future.

QS credits don't distinguish between kid/adult. We often split an "adult" QS meal between a couple of kids and saved credits that way.

TS does not work that way.
