Finally getting around to typing this out. The last few days have been crazy.
Lucas Patrick was born at 38 weeks on 10/16 via c-section after a 27 hour induction where I never progressed or dilated. My contractions never got strong and I didn’t even feel half of them. They tried cervidil for 12 hours and 14 hours of pitocin. I couldn’t have the foley balloon because of my high fluid levels.
He was 7lbs 10oz and 21 inches. He spent some time in the NICU because he was having trouble with low blood sugar and high bilirubin levels. Thankfully everything has stabilized and he’s doing great now! We came home today and so far everything is going well!
