What are you training for? Date? JFK 50 miler 11/23

Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! We've gone almost 9 years without lice in our house and now both kids have gotten it in the last month. Gross. I'm getting checked today. H and I couldn't find any, but I want to be sure. H is bald so he doesn't have to deal with this.
Any AW's or brags? Pretty uneventful week H&F wise. I survived Girl Scout Encampment with DD and her troop. It was fun, but definitely stressful!
Bonus: Share something you're excited about in your life that's not H&F.I got the best performance rating you can get for this work year even though my supervisor said they were going to be strict. She rarely gives me positive feedback so that was unexpected. The only time I know I'm doing something right is if she doesn't have anything negative to say.
Oh, and the Nationals are in the World Series for the first time ever!!!!! First game is tonight. We amazingly got two tickets for Friday, but I'm letting DS and H go because I went with DS last week to the NLCS. I'm going to a watch party at Nats Park tomorrow night.

Any AW's or brags? I am still nailing my training runs. Today was supposed to be 4 miles at 8:49 per mile, but staying in the right level of effort they were around 8:12! Training plans work! Who knew! Ha.
Bonus: Share something you're excited about in your life that's not H&F. Uuuuuuum. I'm excited about seeing some friends from CT this weekend! I hope that counts, even though the reason they are coming to town is they are running the MCM.

Bonus: Share something you're excited about in your life that's not H&F. H and I just booked our Christmas vacation. We go to the same places over and over and I finally put my foot down and said I wanted to go to Europe somewhere. Didn't much care where, just somewhere new (I've never been to Europe). So this past weekend we decided on Amsterdam. I'm so excited. My mom just gifted me (early Christmas gift) an Amazon gift card to buy some stuff for the trip, we "upgraded" our hotel to one with a few more amenities (my H is cheap and would have had us staying in the Holiday Inn - Airport hotel if I'd let him, LOL). I'm so excited!
