Nothing really, just a holy crap. I mean, we knew it. We really did. I've spent years arguing with school that it exists. Now here it is, at almost 9. 

Time to go to battle.

Instead of doing reading group.

We just added ASD to the ADHD and GAD of my 9yo. I know it's overwhelming even if you already "knew".

Are the diagnoses from a private eval? I hope the school will recognize them & it will let her get the help she needs.

Yes, private. It is triennial time for her anyway, so the school is running its own set of evaluations and observations as well. They aren't repeating anything done by the private company. We are meeting in a few weeks to discuss again. I expect that at a minimum the school will start with OHI/SLD for the ADHD and learning disabilities. Those are causing obvious impairment at the moment. I am not sure they will accept ASD as even the private practice was on the fence about it. She already had SLI.
