1. How far along are you? 26 weeks 5 days STM
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? TMI, sorry. I’m feeling so much pressure and I have hemorrhoids.
3. Questions for the group? Nothing at the moment.
4. If you didn't have to compromise with your spouse, what would you name a future DD/DS? Madelyn or Ava This is sore subject right now. H has vetoed both of these names and is refusing to discuss names and thinks he gets to choose.

1. How far along are you? 29 weeks - the last of the 20s and I'm feeling pretty sad that the end is near. I really love pregnancy.
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? Finally got started on painting her room and refinishing her dresser. We are running out of time, but I think we will get it all done before she arrives.
3. Questions for the group? What are you binge watching on hulu/netflix these days? I need a show for maternity leave (nothing too sad). Last time I watched all of Shameless. Any suggestions?
4. If you didn't have to compromise with your spouse, what would you name a future DD/DS? DD - Natalie Jane, DS - Simon Thomas
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? We go for our 3D ultrasound on Friday and can’t wait to see the baby’s face!!
3. Questions for the group? I have maternity pics coming up in 2 weeks - Any recs to find a place to get a maxi or midi dress that would match with fall colors? Just haven’t been happy with any places selling dresses locally or online.
4. If you didn't have to compromise with your spouse, what would you name a future DD/DS? We didn’t argue about names and have two that we both picked out. Oliver for a boy and Dorothy (Dot) for a girl after my grandmother.
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? Yesterday while at my NST I had a BH contraction and the baby's heartrate dropped so they made me come back this morning. Everything is fine and obviously better safe than sorry, it's just that my weeks are already so crowded with appointments that squeezing another in is super inconvenient. I'm getting to the point that I'm ready for her to be born just so I can have a break from going to the doctor.

4. If you didn't have to compromise with your spouse, what would you name a future DD/DS?
I have a long list of names I really like that he doesn't (eg Tova, Ariadne, Vivienne) though thankfully we do agree on enough that we should both be happy with what we eventually choose.

1. How far along are you? 32W4D
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? Had my first non-stress today and a growth scan. So far so good. And we officially scheduled my induction! Acids reflux and nose bleeds seem to be getting worse by the day.
3. Questions for the group? Two questions: What were your must have / most preferred post-partum supplies? I originally was thinking pads (what size, brand) vs the mesh underwear or both but why limit to only those topics, lol. Hit me with everything I need for recovery, lol.
Second question: I will often buy cards for DH and leave them for him as a way to say I love you. Is there somewhere that sells cards for birth of our child occasion? Mostly everything I’ve seen has been for parents to be rather than something special to mark the occasion between us. We have two girls (my step daughters) at home so we aren’t brand new parents, so that also adds a layer in finding things for “new” parents.
4. If you didn't have to compromise with your spouse, what would you name a future DD/DS
DS will be Nicholas (after Nick Foles, lol) John (after my grandfather). My DH goes by his middle name, so I originally wanted DHmiddlename John, but he pointed out the baby’s initials would be VJ and immediately vetoed it. I agree but it still makes me a little sad that he will be named after a football player / stranger instead of DH.
We agreed on Grace Katherine for a girl but I’ve always wanted Kathryn Elizabeth.

chocolatelove Kathryn Elizabeth was my choice too for DD1 (spelled just like that after my grandma) until my BFF announced she was naming her DD Catherine. I did get to use Elizabeth for DD2 so I’m happy

1. How far along are you?
25+3
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week?
This pregnancy is FLYING and it’s making me so sad because it’s our last. Vent: DH just got a new job so waiting on insurance stuff, and we found out for sure the new job is changing carriers at the end of the year. That’s 3 insurance policy carriers for one pregnancy, this is going to be hella complicated.
3. Questions for the group?
Fun ways to I dunno what the right word is, but maybe savor this last pregnancy.
4. If you didn't have to compromise with your spouse, what would you name a future DD/DS?
We both have always LOVED our boy name, so we’re THRILLED we get to use it. I have a few he poopooed though: Oliver and Barrett come to mind most immediately. For girls I loved Arden and Eliza and again I got the veto. Glad we didn’t have to come up with another girls name lol!!
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? Making slight progress towards the nursery- the room the furniture currently in the nursery needs to be moved to is ready and DH promised to get it moved this month (needs help and I can’t be the one to do it).
3. Questions for the group?
4. If you didn't have to compromise with your spouse, what would you name a future DD/DS? Katherine or Elizabeth, I see many of us like these haha! They were so popular when we were growing up but are less so now and I still love them. I have more but those are my favorites.
chocolatelove I can not recommend the FridaBaby MomWasher enough. The peri bottle the hospital gave me last time was crap, only half the water could actually be squirted upwards and it wasn’t big enough to begin with, so I had to waddle back and forth between the toilet and sink in the hospital bathroom which was awful.
ETA: skip the pads and go straight for disposable underwear. Way easier. I think I used the CVS brand “ice” packs but not many, my nurses hooked me up so I had a bunch of the hospital ones.

1. How far along are you? 20w. Halfway done!
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? I'm still struggling with tailbone pain/pressure. I'm scared to see what the future holds since I'm only halfway done.
3. Questions for the group? None this week.
4. If you didn't have to compromise with your spouse, what would you name a future DD/DS? Blair Elizabeth. I think I could pull rank and get this name if I really wanted to, but my H strongly dislikes the name Blair and I want him to be happy with the name.

murphybrown, have you watched Mad Men? I binged that on Netflix a couple years ago and it's one of my favorite shows every. I also liked House of Cards and Great British Bake Off. I've been binging 30 Rock on Hulu.
1. 7w3d 2. Had another good ultrasound yesterday! Had some super light pink spotting when I woke up yesterday morning so they let me move up my ultrasound and everything looked great. No spotting since. 3. Nope. 4. We have similar tastes for girl names but DS would probably be named Oliver. That was my favourite boy name but h HATED it.
2 It's been a heck of a week. I got two infections and the meds made me feel awful. My son got strep. My toddler is cranky and not getting enough sleep. Good news is when I was back in the dr, I gained a few lbs and she has gotten bigger.
3 Edit, I do have a question. Any tips on preparing a toddler for a sibling? My son was 7 when my daughter was born. My daughter will be almost 3. We talk about baby sister a lot, listen to baby sister's heart, I got books, but it's all very abstract for her.
4 We have a few on the short list, but my current fav is Christian Michelle. He likes it but doesn't love it.
3. Questions for the group? I have maternity pics coming up in 2 weeks - Any recs to find a place to get a maxi or midi dress that would match with fall colors? Just haven’t been happy with any places selling dresses locally or online.
I tried on a million outfits for our pics and chose this one. It's in my profile pic.
I am 5’1, so the additional length of not being a petite dress covered the bump. Actually, I still put a knot at the bottom so I don’t trip. I have this dress in 3 colors and I am living in these 3 dresses, yoga pants, and leggings for the remainder of my pregnancy!
doglove , I like Nordstrom and ASOS online for maternity. my maternity dress was Kimi and Kai, although a bit of a splurge. Ugh, can’t get pics to upload.
