I am planning a 3 mile run this morning, some yoga at home and maybe some core work later tonight.
I found out I am running the Boston Marathon on a waiver,( as long as the waiver comes through) and my body needs a lot of work! So I want to begin getting myself in good shape before the real training starts.
melmel48 how do you run Boston on a waiver? I know next to nothing about Boston, other than I’m not fast enough to qualify, so forgive me if this is a dorky question!
lilypad1126, My running club does a lot of work for the BAA and each year we are usually granted bibs! This year I was lucky enough to get one. I will have to pay the waiver/charity registration fee which is a lot more than the fee for people who qualify. It is not a guarantee we will get the bibs and in past years the number of bibs we have received has been reduced. I forget when we find out if we definitely got the bibs. For now I am planning as if I am running!
