2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? The Buy Buy Baby nearest me is closing and I scored a ton of baby bedding for 40% off. I test drove a few strollers but didn't love any of them.


3. Questions for the group? Would you buy tickets for a concert that will happen three weeks before your due date? One of our favorite artists just announced a spring tour. I really want to go, but I'll be miserable by then, right? Or I could have a baby! It's an indoor venue but I'm sure the audience will stand the entire time. Tell me this is a terrible idea!

urbancowgirl - I bought two of those because I loved them, but they pilled so badly on the first wear before I even washed them?? Was that just me? 28$ was a lot for a destroyed shirt without even a wash. 🤦🏻‍♀️

3- so with my other two the concert would have been fine. Well... I would have felt physically fine at the concert. My first was delivered at 37w exactly though and second at 38w- low fluid for both of them. I don’t remember- was your first early at all?

Bah currently at the ob bc baby didn’t move a ton yesterday or this morning, and what I did feel was nowhere as strong as normal. Turd started moving a lot more in the car on the way here. The US was good for fluid and everything, so idk what it was doing yesterday. I was also kind of crampy and stuff, so I got nervous..

I’m blanking right now 🤣 I did just finish out my order of “necessities”- gripe water, gas drops, infant Tylenol, etc. I also ordered a hakaa and the hatch white noise thing- those weren’t really around for my other two and I look forward to trying them.

Oh no, that's a bummer!  I washed mine and today is the first day I'm wearing it.  No pills so far and fingers crossed they don't appear.

Irrationally irritated at my weight. The gain is totally within the healthy range but since I started higher with this pregnancy I’m already almost 10 lb more than I was when I delivered DS. Sleeves in some of my maternity tops I bought last time are feeling tight and I hate it, but I also still want to eat everything and obviously gain what I need to for DD. So logically I know this is fine, but I’m just feeling very blah ick about it.

4. Recommend a maternity or baby product!
I love nursing tanks. Target has comfy ones for around the house, but the playtex are my favorite because they act as a real bra that I can wear out with something else over it (or not, but usually I do since the material is a bit shiny).

2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? Was admitted to the hospital after my routine NST showed baby had some decels during my contractions - and now I'll be giving birth once I hit 37 weeks, so tomorrow!

4. Recommend a maternity or baby product! Several good pairs of maternity pj's because if you get stuck at the hospital unexpectedly for a longer period of time like I have, you'll need them. My favorite is this pair.

Not directly pregnancy related, but kind of- my hopes for my girls to share a room are dwindling. Our first random try last week was a bust, but now we have a plan of action and some tricks to try, so fingers crossed they can pull it together and make it work. If not, I’m suddenly going to be redecorating 2 rooms in my house in third trimester

What exercise did you love in 3rd tri? I ran until like 32 weeks with D1, did Orangetheory until 40+ weeks with DD2, this time I’ve been playing tennis 3+ days a week but that’s over so I need something to do!

Piddle pad. No, not the one for dogs. They advertise it as being for potty training but I used it more for infant blowouts! It was AMAZING. Buy. It. Now.

Had non-stress test #3 today and fluid level was down from 15 on Friday to 8 today. Everyone, including my mom with 40 years of L&D nursing experience assured me everything is fine, but I feel unsettled.

Compresssion quarter socks and then essential oils on the rest of my legs (with elevation and rest) to help keep the swelling down / manageable. Also, dresses and leggings - I’m so over dress pants!

2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? Terrible pain in my SI joint this week so bad I couldn’t walk. Doctor wants me to see a PT, but the only pelvic one in my area isn’t covered by insurance and is $200 (!!!!) a visit. A big nope there. Got a SI belt, continue to see the chiropractor and my H’s sister who is a PT sent me some exercises to try and ways to tape my back for support. Hope that gets me through the next ~10 weeks.

4. Recommend a maternity or baby product? I am loving the felina maternity leggings. I got them on super clearance back in June on Costco’s website and wish I had known how much I would love them because I would have stocked up. They are also on amazon, but more pricey - I stocked up anyways because I am basically wearing them all the time now.

Yes this is what I’ll probably do. I swam a lot at the end of my other pregnancies too. Plus my older kiddo loves to swim in the winter!

Ooooh I may have to check those out. I have and LOVE the regular felina leggings (also got them at Costco) and have been rocking those under the bump a lot, but I’m sure true maternity would be more comfortable.

Also I hope you can find relief from the SI pain, $200 a visit is insane!

urbancowgirl, I probably wouldn’t, because my kids were both a few weeks early, and I was so miserable by the end with my second.

humpforfree, I just got two Hatch machines for my older kids and I love them so far! I’m also excited to see if the Hakaa is worth all the hype.

urbancowgirl I think the only way I’d do that was if the tickets were the front row of that section. Like even if it’s nosebleeds if no one can stand up in front of you then sure*. Otherwise every show I’ve been to indoor or not has been standing/dancing at seats and there is not a chance I’d be up for that at 37 weeks.

*and if the seats you get aren’t nosebleeds someone with front row nosebleeds would probably be willing to trade you when you arrive- I’ve totally traded away better seats to sit near friends.
