These are my final votes (and other books I have read that made it to the finals but I didn't vote for):
Fiction - Ask Again, Yes (also read The Testaments but I thought it was only ok)
Mystery & Thriller - The Lost Man (also read The Silent Patient, An Anonymous Girl, and Miracle Creek which were all good but Miracle Creek was my close second place)
Historical Fiction - The Dutch House (I really don't consider this HF, but Tom Hanks narrates the audiobook and I recommend it)
Fantasy - The Winter of the Witch (also read Storm Cursed but it wasn't Briggs' best)
Science Fiction - (read Recursion but didn't vote for it because I wasn't particularly wowed by it)
Memoir - Know My Name (also read Me by Elton John, which I enjoyed but wasn't as powerful)
Debut Novel - The Silent Patient (I am so surprised that Miracle Creek didn't make it into the finals for this category!)
YA Fantasy - (read and did not like or vote for The Wicked King and A Curse So Dark and Lonely; I am extremely sad that Call Down the Hawk didn't make it into the finals!)
Fiction - I'm waiting because I've got Olive, Again on my desk waiting to be read Mystery & Thriller - The Lost Man won by a hair over Miracle Creek Historical Fiction - Haven't voted in this category because I didn't like Daisy Jones & The Six or The Huntress enough. I have Dutch House on hold at the library so that's a possibility Science Fiction - Recursion because it was the only one I read Nonfiction - Maybe You Should Talk to Someone Memoir - Inheritance because it was the only one I read History & Biography - Say Nothing: A True Story of Murder and Memory in Northern Ireland (just finishing up with this) Debut Novel - The Secrets We Kept
Eta: I officially voted for Olive, Again in the Fiction category.
I read and liked Ask Again, Yes and Miracle Creek, but I don’t think either was best in its category. I might vote for Ask Again, Yes but I haven’t yet. I voted for The Dutch House (still don’t think it’s historical fiction) and The Starless Sea. I also voted for Recursion — I’m not convinced it’s the best sci-fi, but it was good. On behalf of my middle-grade reading daughter, I voted for Dragon Pearl in that category.

Agree with historical fiction- I didn't like Daisy Jones enough to vote for it.
Fiction: Normal People by Sally Rooney
History & Biography - Say Nothing: A True Story of Murder and Memory in Northern Ireland
Fantasy - The Winter of the Witch
YA Fantasy - Wayward Son by Rainbow Rowell (although I didn't like it as much as the first)
Romance: Red White and Royal Blue
My favorite Memoir was What is a Girl Worth?: My Story of Breaking the Silence and Exposing the Truth about Larry Nassar and USA Gymnastics by Rachael Denhollander which wasn't on the list and favorite graphic novel I Was Their American Dream: A Graphic Memoir by Malaka Gharib
