All of these school posts plus some things I have been considering are leading me to think about getting my MBA online. I tried to find some info online about good schools for this, but got confused. Anyone want to point me in the right direction? I could probably get into a decent school or at least try. My undergrad is in Business from Tulane and I have like 15 years of experience so I could do an Executive. With my son, on campus wouldn't be an option for me right now.
Northeastern has an online MBA program and I think Penn State does as well. I currently take BA classes through University of Phoenix and I don't recommend them at all. I call it the school for stupid people. Not that I am unintelligent but a lot of those who attend cannot even put a complete sentence together and have some of the poorest grammar I have ever read. It is pretty frustrating.

Yeah I was reading a thread on ML about schools and they were saying that a lot of people don't take University of Phoenix degrees seriously, so I'd avoid that.

I'm getting my MBA online right now through Colorado State University. They have a good bricks and mortar program and the online program parallels it. I am entering my last year (you have the option of doing it in 2, 3, or 4 years ... I chose 3), and have been VERY happy with it. I actually feel like I have received more attention and help with my courses than I did in undergrad or my first masters, both of which I attended on an actual college campus in person. They were ranked #1 in distance education delivery for the past several years now. They also receive high rankings for being family friendly, which as a single mom was super important to me.
Others that I looked at that have both bricks and mortar and online programs were Washington State, Arizona State, Ball State, Auburn U, Penn State, Duke. I also just got some information from Pepperdine, which has a very reputable MBA program that they have launched an online version of their program as well.
Let me know if you have any more questions. I will say that as hard as it is to juggle it all, I am happy I decided to do it.

This is great info, thanks so much for sharing it! Can I ask you two questions, 1- do you have to actually go to the campus ever? and 2- you can PM me this if you don't want to post it but do you mind sharing the overall cost and how you are paying for it? Like loans or how that works. The cost is probably the biggest barrier for me.
