Omg why the fuck am I up?!? I was up at 410 yesterday to run a 50 miler. Got to bed at midnight and woke up at 4 this morning. I couldn’t get back to sleep after laying in bed for 90 minutes.
Wait did you run JFK? Amazing!!! I want to hear more!
I’m up and no one responded to coming on a trail run My running buddy is hurt but said she will meet me and walk her dog there. It’s a 5 mile loop. It’s a very safe location but I’m such a chicken shit. I’m less worried about creepy people and more scared of animals and...irrationally....my own thoughts of white walkers. Wtf is wrong with me.

campermom I will depending on the trails. I like to let my H or someone know where I'm going because the biggest thing I worry about is falling and/or spraining an ankle or something.
I let my anxiety get the best of me and stuck with roads, but it was still a success. 7 miles is the first long run since my surgery 10 weeks ago! Back to my normal long run pace too.

Do you guys run trails alone?
I did! Hoping to do a recap soon when I find some time to process everything. It was a good day, but running 50 miles is no joke. I really struggled through miles 33-41. I made it with a time I'm happy with. Crossing that finish line was so sweet.
I haven't run too many trails alone, mostly because I'm scared of getting lost and prefer to stick closer to home if I'm not meeting anyone.
