bullygirl979 yes, you should! We only have ~3 weeks until Christmas, so you need all that time to enjoy it! Tell P your internet friends agree with you
Getting excited about this babe now! Anxiety is low since I am finally at a safe gestational age for him/her and the chiropractor has been keeping my back all sorted out so I feel mostly good other than being tired. Love the movement.
Also looking forward to a quiet Christmas and a few days off without anyone to entertain.

LOL tiramisu and doglove. I know! I know! We need to borrow his parents' van so it's more along the lines of making sure the weather is conducive and we have enough time to do it. He's more than on board as he brought it up before I did. So maybe I should have said "I'm going to try and convince MYSELF we should go this weekend." Ha!
1. Having bloody marys with some of my ladies on Sunday morning and being able to catch up, since it feels like forever since we've been able to connect 2. As much as I'm dreading all the time with my family, I'm excited to explore Taiwan in January.

1. Having my friends over for lunch in a couple of weeks, we haven’t gotten together in over a year (since I got divorced) 2. My kid is going to Hawaii for a week with her dad in January so I’ve taken that opportunity to take vacation myself as well. Found a conference in Paris so I’m going to Paris for a week and part of it will be paid for by work. Excited to just bum around for a week, see my aunt, take a couple of baking classes and hopefully see my FWB as well. Oh, and go to the conference of course but that’s only 2 days 😉
1. Jnnuary. I am not a big fan of the holidays so I am happy when January rolls around and things calm down.
2. Margarita madness night later this week with my girlfriends. We use to do it almost every week in the summer out on the patio of our favorite mexican restaurant. It has been way to long since the last one. Mango margarita - YUMMY!!
1. I am ready for the weekend. I get to hang with my friends for a brunch and Christmas parade party.
2. I'm excited to frame some of the artwork I bought in Australia. I bought so many pretty things. I came across an etsy fair and could have spent so much money there I came home with a Kookaburra print, a print that looks like the apartment I rented, an awesome thread artwork in the shape of Australia, along with some jewelry and a throw pillow case.
I'm adding to mine! The university in my city has this amazing drag show every year and tables are pretty much impossible to buy. I just got a table....squee!!! All of the tables for the Friday and Saturday show sold out in 3 minutes.
1 - Handing in my badge of Friday and being done with my current mess of a job. I'll really miss my coworkers, but the job duties and company will not be remembered as fondly! I'm currently ticked - all of the extra projects that have been dumped on me as SUPER URGENT MUST COMPLETE in the past couple months have magically been canceled now that I'm leaving. Apparently there's no one with the bandwidth or knowledge to complete them without me. Duh.
2 - Interior Christmas decorating is happening this week/weekend. I usually put everything up the week of Thanksgiving, but I wanted the wood floors polished in the house, so it didn't make sense to add trees when we would have to move all the furniture around. Anyhow, the floors are now nice and shiny, so up the trees go! (The outside of our house has been decorated and lights turned on since mid-November, lol).
I can’t wait! A whole week all to myself. My sister was wanting to come visit me for a day or 2 (she in the Netherlands where all my family is still) and I told her no 😂😂. Other than my conference I don’t want to have a fixed schedule and her coming even for just 2 days will mess that up. got myself a little apartment in Le Marais (in the summer I usually stay at my aunt’s but only because she is gone a lot and so i don’t feel like imposing too much). I haven’t been to Paris in the winter since I was about 17 so it will be a different experience than my summer visits I’m sure. I almost wish I could be there before Christmas instead but January won’t suck too bad either. Better than staying at home and working!
One of these days I’d like to branch out and go somewhere where I haven’t been yet ( I was also thinking about going to Guadeloupe or Martinique but plane tix were pretty pricy). I love to travel but the idea of going somewhere unknown totally solo I admit makes me a little uncomfortable still.
