So I'd like to update the training thread to include goals along with what you're training for to be more inclusive to other areas of health & wellness. Any thoughts or feedback welcome
What are you training for or goal you're working towards? Date?
What are you training for or goal you're working towards? Date? Final cyclocross race of the year. THen the off season!
Training schedule for the week? Sunday: 90 minute road ride Monday: Off Tuesday: Trainer ride w/intervals Wed.: Trainer ride w/light intervals Thursday: Recovery trainer or road ride TBD Friday: Off Sat.: 75 minute road ride w/race openers Sunday: Cyclocross race
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! Not really a vent, but it's been a long race season this year. I'm looking forward to the off season.
Any AW's or brags? I'll finish in the top 10 in my division for the cyclocross series. I'm happy with that this year considering I've had some challenges this fall.

Thanks for posting! I like the inclusion of goals.
What are you training for or goal you're working towards? Date?
My goal is to keep up a good running and strength base over the winter, and to stay healthy. I think my foot is finally almost healed, but now I have a small hamstring strain. Why is something always wrong?
Training schedule for the week?
M: Easy run, strength workout T: Track workout W: Spin class and strength Th: Hill run F: Short easy run or spin Sat: First trail run since March! Sun: Rest/recovery
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away!
It’s dark and cold! And I have a small hamstring strain. Sigh.
What are you training for or goal you're working towards? Date? Right now I have a 25k trail run in January. I’m technically signed up for 50k but that’s not happening.
Training schedule for the week? Umm It’s been a busy week. Also I turned off my alarm today and didn’t run. Busy tomorrow night, wedding Friday and husband works all weekend, sooooo
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! I really wanted to make a nutrition plan work but it was just way too intense. I have a couple of other options I might go for. For now just rating template foods and meal prep.
Any AW's or brags? I’m 12 weeks post tummy tuck/mommy makeover. I’m able to run 8 easy and could do more but haven’t pushed it.

What are you training for or goal you're working towards? Date? Off season/ planning for next year. I have no races on the schedule and it's a weird feeling.
Training schedule for the week? M- run 4 T- lift W- Run 4-6 Th swim or run 4-6 F- rest S- Run 6-8 miles S- swim or run 4-6
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! I'm almost ready to sign up for a late spring 70.3 but I want to be 100% on board mentally. Training for a marathon through winter sucked last year and tri training will be a whole different level.
Any AW's or brags? I got back in the pool for the first time in a year and a half this weekend and I actually enjoyed it!

What are you training for or goal you're working towards? Date? Goal: Get faster at the half marathon distance Race: Rock N Roll DC at the end of March
Training schedule for the week? Tues: 5 miles Thurs: 5 miles Sat: 6.5 miles with intervals Sun: 5 miles and strength
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! Nah
Any AW's or brags? I PR'd my 5k on Thanksgiving. By a lot. It's probably the pace I SHOULD be running 5ks at, but I haven't run a 5k (as a race) in like 3 years. So I'm pretty excited that all my training is paying off.
What are you training for or goal you're working towards? Date? - Nothing on the horizon for a while. My goals are to really focus on strength building and improvement in the offseason, and to get a couple of health issues reigned in an under control.
Training schedule for the week? M: 40' run and strength Tues: 2100 swim Wed: 1:10 ride and strength Thurs: 2500 swim Fri: 40' hill repeat run and strength Sat: 1 hour ride Sun: Rest
PT and stretching every day.
Any issues/vents/complaints? Vent away! - I started going to a new PT, and while I thought he was awesome, I've been doing my in-office sessions with a PTA, and I don't feel like I've improved one bit. I'm frustrated.
