I missed the other posts, but I’m glad to hear you’re home! RSV is terrifying, especially with the littles (been there as well unfortunately). Hope everyone is fully recovered soon!!!
Glad you are home! My 10 month old was treated in the ER last week with RSV and a high fever. I thought for sure we would be admitted since his pulse ox was 95 but they sent us home after a few hours. He looks and sounds so much better less than a week later.
Going to the pedi for deep suction (they did it before every feed in the hospital) and hoping that helps. He’s still at 4 ounce bottles (down from 6-7 ounce) and breathing quickly
Steamy bathroom, saline and nose frida doesn’t seem to help much .
The follow up at the pedi went well. Basically he is still sick and sounds bad but it’s within expected parameters. Pedi didn’t suggest anything else to do for baby but did encourage me to do something relaxing and get some sleep. So I’m going to send the big kids to my sister and let DH take over baby.
I am so very thankful for the support of this community ❤️ Ds3 is still improving! He slept 11 hours last night (albeit in the snoo & not his crib) and is almost back to eating his normal amount.
Happy to hear he's improving. Please keep us updated.
DS2 going through this was one of the scariest and most stressful times of my parenting journey thus far. I really feel for you right now. It's making me tear up thinking about it, but I *finally* picked up DS1 from daycare like 4 days after DS2 was diagnosed. Between hospital time and MIL helping out, I hadn't seen DS1 in all that time. I cried when I picked him up. I was so tired and scared and I missed my big kid. All that to say, please take care of yourself, take time with your other two if you need to, or time for yourself. It's hard to see one of your kids so sick.
We've been in hospital since last night : pneumonia and rsv. She is pulling and they're probably going to give her oxygen today as the sat has gone from 95 during the night to 93 this morning 😭😭😭😭

It’s so scary when they need help breathing. FX you guys go home soon!

I'm not on here much these days but just read this post -- I'm so sorry your DS (and you!) are going though this. It sounds so scary. I hope things continue to improve.
