So I don’t further thread jack the questions thread I thought I’d dump everything here.
DH came with my pillow, weighted blanket, clothes and toiletries. My sister is leaving work early to take care of the big kids so DH can stay here a bit longer.
He still has oxygen humidifier thing in his nose and When they took him down to 21 (I think they said that was just ambient room oxygen but with a little pressure) his O2 dropped into the low 80s when sleeping so they bumped it back up to 35 and he’s now at 91 asleep 95 awake.
The nurses are so sweet - getting me things and making sure I take a few minutes for myself every few hours. One saw me trying to stretch on a towel on the floor and found me a yoga mat!
Sounds like you're both getting good care - yay for that! Small wins. Hope he recovers quickly. I'm sure it's scary but he's exactly where he needs to be right now.
Noooo I missed the cafeteria and coffee shop closing so I can’t get milk for coffee pretty sure I’ll end up Uber eatsing some Starbucks for a jillion dollaes

it's probably too late for this, but the unit should have a refreshments area for families. ours has milk, among other things, and is free for family members in any quantity. ask your nurse about it.

Last year my daughter (at 7 weeks) was hospitalized with RSV. She was in hospital for 5 nights. I just wanted to let you know that she was fully recovered in a few months and her lungs were/are totally fine. She is a healthy one year old now. It's super scary.. but i promise all will be okay!

namasteak,I've been off the board all week so I'm JUST now seeing this. I'm sorry you're dealing with this. Our little man had RSV starting over the weekend too. I didn't realize before how serious it can get. Hugs mama.
It’s been 7 hours w/o supplemental oxygen and his o2 drops between 89-91 when he is asleep but is 94-97 when awake. The nurse thinks we will be discharged but I’m nervous about the o2 being low when he is asleep.
Still waiting on the doctor to do rounds and tell us if we are staying. As much as I want to go home I’d rather stay until his numbers are higher when he sleeps.

I would feel the same as you. I'd rather stay one more night and ensure that he is safe when he sleeps.
I am just seeing this post for the first time. Thinking of you guys namasteak! How scary. I hope that his levels continue to stabilize and you guys will feel safe and comfortable when you do go home.
