Heading out for 4-5 miles. I was thinking about meeting up with a group doing a trail run in my backyard, but I'm think I'm dawdle-chickening out of that. Like...theyre starting in 10 min and j don't have shoes on yet. They're going at least a mile further and likely rather faster than I'm up for.
I'm looking forward to being back into shape enough to meet up with people again though. Training plan made, three races on the books for next year, off season is officially over.
I ran 5 miles yesterday. That’s the farthest I’ve ever run. A year and a half ago I struggled to jog/walk .8 miles.
My resting heart rate was 12 beats lower this morning than it was before I started running. And I have such an easier time keeping up with my 3 and 5 year old now - not to mention the good example regular exercise sets for them.
I’m up and about to head to the gym for 5 miles and strength. I probably should run outside, but there’s no where to run outside by my gym and I desperately need to do some strength today.
Then, no idea what’s on the agenda for later today. My H still isn’t feeling well, so probably I’ll finish up my Christmas shopping.
