I'm so confused

Well not sure how to add photo here but this morning I thought I got a positive pregnancy test. Except I took an ovulation test. So I took a pregnancy test tonight and it's a squinter

Ovulation tests LH right? And pregnancy tests HCG?

Today is day 33 and 15dpo

I'm confused, and worried

So, the first one you took was an OPK? Was that one also a squinter? From my experience, OPKs almost always show some amount of a second line because there's always some amount of LH in your system. For an OPK to be positive, the second line has to be as dark or darker than the control line. For a pregnancy test, you just have to have a second line of any darkness.

If both tests were faint/squinters, it sounds like you're pregnant!!!

Was the OPK positive? As in darker than the control line? Any time I’ve been pregnant I got a huge positive on an OPK.

Go pee on another pregnancy test and report back! Good luck!

I agree with katespade. A light OPK line is not a positive but a light hpt line is. Curious if you retested this morning with a hpt?

Yes positive and dark OPK
2 squinter regular strip tests
and now finally a positive digital test that said "pregnant"
SO HAPPY!!!

But....

always guarded because of 3 losses

I called my doc who did bloodwork today and my endocrinologist to follow my thyroid numbers

Okay, an update: my blood draw was HCG = 398 which sounds low to me. I think I'm roughly between 4/5 weeks, 18 DPO. Looking at random charts on the internet it seems ok but just hearing that sounds low to me, any experience?

That sounds fine for 18dpo. They like to see it double over the next 72 hrs so that's really the important next number.
