Critique my stash, please

Hi there.
I'm a FTM due in September. Here is my current CD stash. Please let me know what other CDs or accessories I should get. Thanks.

Get another dozen wipes.
Newborn stuff is probably fine if you want to wash every day.
You can wait to buy more OS until you see what you like, unless you see a great deal around.

It's a good place to start. I definately recommend buying more once you've had a chance to try stuff out. Newborns can sometimes pee every hour, so I recommend having at least 24. If you want to go every day and a half to two days, 36 diapers is ideal.

By my count, you have 22 NB changes. That won't be enough unless you plan to wash every 1.5 days. You need at least 30 changes, but you are better off with 36 if you want to wash EOD. NBs pee/poo constantly. Sometimes I went through 5 PFs in one diaper change. You may be able to use the small PFs, depending on the size of your LO as back up.

I'd wait for to buy more OS until you see what you like unless you can find some awesome deals. I stalked my local CL (which always has a ton of CD postings), and bought as I went.

If I get 24 more prefolds and 4-5 more covers, would I be set for NB stage?

I'd get 12 more NB PFs and one more cover (or two). I'd also get two dozen more wipes. Do you have two pail liners and a couple small wetbags for out and about?

Otherwise, looks good! Hold off on more OS until you figure out what you like.

Thanks. I'll look into more prefolds and a few more covers and wipes.

And yes to the pail liners and wetbags. Well, they are on my registry. Someone will get them, or I will if they don't.

I just can't stop buying diapers, but I guess I'm done for a while.

I think you probably need a few more covers. I liked having a few XS Thirsties covers.

More wipes! Like 30+

I don't think you necessarily need more Prefolds. My kid went through 8 a day in NB phase and I got away with all small (no NBs) even though she was an 8 lb baby. Had 30 and never ran out at doing a wash every other day to every 2.5 days.
