1. 12w2d 2. Had my NT scan on Friday and everything looks good! Got panorama results back as well on Thursday and looks like we are having a baby girl, everything was low risk. 3. Nope 4. Mostly! We had a real tree last year but bought a flocked fake tree this year on sale.
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? Been feeling pretty good the pst few days and sleeping better. I feel less anxious as we get more prepared for the baby’s arrival so maybe that’s it? I feel like I’m finally enjoying this pregnancy even though it’s closer to the end. Love all the movement.
3. Questions for the group?
4. Are your Holiday decorations up? Do you do a real or fake tree? Yep they are up! We have both a real tree and a fake tree. We keep the fake on in our front living room window and the real one in our big bay window at the back of the house in our great room where we hang out.

1. 8w, 4d
2. I had my 1st u/s yesterday and my little blob/gummy bear measured at 8w, 4d (yesterday, so a day ahead), with a hbr of 176. I was nervous, but feeling better now! My NT scan and a bunch of genetic labs will be in early January. Yay for being AMA, and having all of the tests covered by insurance!
3. Not right now.
4. No X-mas decor up right now, we have a small fake tree in a closet. I'm not a Christmas person at all, and don't decorate every year. I'm counting down to the New Year, instead.
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? Had an appointment yesterday and everything is great, strong 140’s heartbeat and apparently passed glucose with flying colors (figured I’d passed since they didn’t call to schedule a three hour, but nice to know it wasn’t close).
3. Questions for the group?
4. Are your Holiday decorations up? Do you do a real or fake tree? Uh, the fake tree is upright, but there’s nothing on it. Sooooo kinda?

1. How far along are you?
37 + 5
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week?
Lots this week.
Baby slept through the first part of his non-stress test on Friday, so the first tech considered a failed test, which definitely lead to a mental breakdown for me. The doctors and my mom (who is certified to read non-stress tests) said they would have considered it passing, but it was the straw that broke the camel’s back for me. Watching BP, fluid intake, swelling, movement, etc just now feels too overwhelming and I don’t feel comfortable managing all of these risks at home anymore. But, clinically, I am fine (he passed the more in depth stress test components) so there is no clinical reason to induce delivery for another 9 days.
My shower was Saturday and we did maternity pics on Saturday as well. I wanted really low key, no one really listened to me and they were both a bigger deal than I wanted... cue more panic attacks. But both ended up being lovely and not nearly as overwhelming as I anticipated.
And baby passes his non-stress test yesterday with flying colors, like usual. We have another one and an OB visit tomorrow. And his dresser arrived last night. Glider and crib are on their way, so maybe we can get his room set up this weekend!
3. Questions for the group?
Nope.
4. Are your Holiday decorations up? Do you do a real or fake tree?
No... we have a fake tree. This weekend is the last time we have my youngest step-daughter before Christmas and before the baby is born, so we plan to decorate and do lots of Christmas things and one special activity that both girls pick to celebrate / acknowledge the end of our family of 4.

1. How far along are you? 37w6d, #3
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? I am DONE. I am falling apart mentally and physically. Woke up with a hemorrhoid this week. Can’t sleep at night. Can’t stay awake during the day (I’ve napped 2 hours every morning while the kids are at school- can’t even make it until nap time!). I’m so crampy and achey all over. I feel like I am constantly about to cry (I am not typically Emotional or a crier). Ugh. I have an appointment tomorrow and they will strip my membranes and I can also schedule an induction for next week at 39w. Plus there is a full moon- really hoping that gets things going before next week. My first two were born at 37w & 38w2d due to low fluid, so I am just mentally struggling with going further this time.
3. Questions for the group?
4. Are your Holiday decorations up? Do you do a real or fake tree? Yeah I got everything up the Friday after thanksgiving. I wanted to be as set as possible in case this one had to come early like the other two, plus we hosted a couple of Christmas events the last couple of weekends.

I thought of a question for you ladies!
What are your appointments like in 2nd/3rd trimester, and how do you feel before after each one (energy, etc)?
I'm supposed to schedule all of my appointments with my doctor soon (to make sure I can get days/times of the week that are good for me), and I'm wondering if I might want to take entire days off or just schedule half days from work. I'm mentally tallying my PTO, and wondering if I'll want to save some for appointment days or if I have enough to plan a vacation or two before the LO is supposed to arrive.

From 28-36 weeks they see me every 2 weeks. After 36 weeks it’ll be every week until delivery. I schedule an 8am so I can be back to work no later than 9 (30 minute drive from doctor to work). My work starts at 8 so the half hour it takes to get there isn’t on the work clock, but I’m able to make up time at lunch so I don’t have to take PTO.
ETA I don’t have paid maternity time, I have 12 weeks of FMLA and dependent on type of birth, I can use 6-8 weeks of short term disability. So I am trying to supplement the other 6 weeks with PTO of sick and vacation time so I don’t lose pay, which is why I am diligent about not taking any PTO for doctors appointments.
humpforfree and chocolatelove I hope you ladies can get some rest and don’t have to go too much longer before meeting your (healthy) little ones. The end of pregnancy really is the suck.
1. How far along are you? Well I guess better late than never joining in? I’m 36 weeks 1 day with twins. Team green.
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? One baby is measuring 5 lbs 15 oz and the other is 6lbs 5 oz. I’m very big and very sore. Thank god I started my maternity leave last week.
3. Questions for the group? Not right now...
4. Are your Holiday decorations up? Do you do a real or fake tree? Yes, but we are pretty minimal. We have some outside lights, the mantle decorated, and will finish hanging garland on the bannister tomorrow. A few other touches here and there. We have a big real tree this year since we moved into an old Victorian house that has a turret, so a perfect spot.

1- 4w4d with #2 2- my boobs were sore and now they aren’t. Still in the compulsive testing and temping phase. It’s such a mind game! My first appt is 1/10 and they’ll do an ultrasound. 3- please give me all your no early symptoms happy stories. With my previous pregnancies my boobs were crazy sensitive around this time. 3- fake tree is up! The rest of the house is close. My DDs bday is today so I also need to do some birthday decorating.

1. How far along are you? 25w
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? I was so busy last week with a million things to do, and things culminated with me breaking down in tears while making Oreo balls, lol. I'm laughing at myself now, but I'm struggling to get everything done when I can only spend so much time on my feet before my back/tailbone are killing me. I'm excited for the holidays, but I will be relieved to get back to our normal routine.
3. Questions for the group? This is so random, but I keep finding tiny scratches (less than a quarter inch long) on my body and I'm pretty sure I'm not unconsciously scratching myself. It's been going on for weeks. I currently have one on my forehead near my hairline, and I've had several on my hands and torso, too. Is this a weird pregnancy symptom?
4. Are your Holiday decorations up? Do you do a real or fake tree? Yes, DS and I put them up the day before Thanksgiving. He was so excited to help. I love this age (6) because he's still so sweet and is actually helpful, lol. I'll be sad when he's too cool for this type of thing. We have a real tree.
tiptoetulips I had basically zero symptoms with both DS and my current pregnancy early on. In fact both times I thought I was out for that month right up until I got the positive test, and early on- like once I knew but hadn’t had the first appointment yet- my only symptom was mild cramping from my uterus starting to expand (which the first time had me running to the bathroom expecting the worst, this time I either recognized it or it wasn’t as strong a feeling since it isn’t my uterus’s first rodeo anymore).

My appointments are super straight forward and fast. Blood pressure, weight, questions, heartbeat and measurements. It only takes about 20 mins even with my toddler in tow. I imagine the one with the gbs test will take a few mins longer but not much. I would schedule a half day off at the most.
2 I’m so tired. I don’t remember being this tired with my other two but I was never pregnant with a toddler before. I know with absolute certainty that we are done after this. I will be having my tubes removed during my rcs. For whatever reason, I’m really sad about it, sad knowing I’ll never be pregnant again. We had years of infertility and pregnancy loss so the fact I’m going to have 3 kids still makes me feel overwhelmingly blessed, I just feel a sadness too because each upcoming “first” will also be a last. I’m trying to enjoy my last 7 weeks of feeling baby movement.

4 I don’t respect the turkey. I decorated the weekend before thanksgiving. We have a fake tree.

1. How far along are you? 30 + 6 (seriously can't believe I'm typing that!)
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? The weight gain the past two weeks is terrifying. I haven't changed how/what I've been eating much(minus Thanksgiving, but tried not to overdo it) so it always makes me freak out when I see that! Not pregnancy related-DD2 had the flu Monday-Wed so I was literally up all night with her since she wanted to sleep only with me, mainly on my chest...which is pretty hard these days since she's 20months old and my lap is quickly disappearing. So glad she's on the mend.
Also, we've sadly come the conclusion that DD1 & DD2 cannot share a room right now, for everyones sanity and sleep. This means that I have to convert our guest bedroom to DD2's room and make my workout/craft room into a quasi guest room. I have like 8 weeks max to do this oh and Christmas and DD1's birthday in that time too. To say I'm freaking out is an understatement.
3. Questions for the group?
WWYD- I am debating getting another HALO Bassinest. I got a used one for DD2 and loved it. I sold it because it's huge and #3 was so up in the air. I used a PNP in our room for DD1 but it was definitely not as easy. So- should I just bite the bullet and get another used Bassinest? These winter babies kill me with everything needing to be bought during Christmas lol!
4. Are your Holiday decorations up? Do you do a real or fake tree? Yes. Finally. I chair the Christmas events at our church which also means lots of time/decoration there, so needless to say my house has come last the past few years. We have a real tree for our "main" tree and several fake ones elsewhere in the house.

So much of this. I know we're done too. And I honestly still can't believe I'm naturally pregnant after two fertility babies. It seems too good to be true or something. I wonder if that's part of the reason that this pregnancy hasn't "sunk in". Such a big part of me wishes I had been able to start having babies younger so I could have the option for more, but three babies in a little over 3 years has done me in. I'm too old, but still so very very thankful to carry these little blessings.
