I got a decent amount of my wrapping done today, and in doing so, I realized that ds has both more and MUCH bigger gifts than dd. He is getting a hoverboard and a go-cart attachment as his big gift, and dd is getting a Gizmo watch. That is what both of them have asked for. They both also have several smaller gifts, but dd's are things like extra watch bands, earrings, and a tiny stuffed dog (that I know she'll love), clothes, while ds's are a google speaker, a green screen kit, legos, etc., that are much more fun. So I feel like I really need one more fun gift for dd, but I am out of ideas. She's not into electronics as much as ds, and the things she plays with more than anything are tiny stuffed animals or tiny animal figures, and she definitely has plenty of those. Any ideas for this mom who totally thought she was done shopping already???
My daughter is super into those blind bags, so I got her a few national geographic rock digs. She gets the joy of "unboxing" of the blind bags, and small, pretty rocks at the end that don't take up much room.
Legos? Lego Friends dolphin rescue set or similar Calico Critters? Playmobil? Cute little pet sets from Target by Our Generation (AG knockoff) The actual American Girl pets ARE super cute, but not sure if you want to open that door Karaoke mic--around $20 on Amazon Game? My kids liked the game Slapzi and Sushi-Go and both would be good for that age. I just ordered something called "Throw Throw Burrito" that sounded silly & fun. Craft kit/art supplies--cool gen pens or markers. Room stuff: jewelry holder, corkboard, picture frames, throw pillows I got my kids a cheap window sun catcher kit on Prime Day from Amazon and it was great for them to do with friends when friends came over. Melty beads (like Perler beads) Shrinky Dinks roller blades, scooter, bike

My 8 year old is a boy, but I have a 10 year old girl and honestly they are both kind of in to similar things.
8 year old DS is getting from us: - flame vans shoes and camo thermal shirt - new comforter for his bed - sandisk MP3 player with earbuds (thing he wants more than anything) - make your own comic books with how to draw comics and a set of drawing pens - black skate/bike helmet
My parents got him a ripster skateboard thing. FIL got him a metal detector.
10 year old DD is getting from us: - black and white checkered vans and an under armor shirt - teal fuzzy body pillow - teal skate/bike helmet - drawing present with sketch book and pencils, how to draw animals book, make your own comic strips book, and drawing pens - blue hydroflask
My parents also got her a ripstik. FIL got her an iPod touch.
So any trendy things she’s into right now? Vans seem to be one of those IT things currently. And of course the hydroflasks, but that might be a slightly older than her trend. The sandisk MP3 players are only like $20-$40 and both my 8 and 10 year old really want to be able to walk around listening to music (you can also put audio books on them which my 8 year old is currently obsessed with). Outdoor gear like bike, scooter, skateboard, helmet, skates, rollerblades, etc.

My 7 year old is getting several books, the babysitters club box set redone by Raina Telgemeier is what she’s most excited about. She’s also getting a couple of her other books we don’t have yet. She wants American girl book sets as well (doesn’t really care about the dolls). There’s a new fortune cookie toy that comes with a surprise piece of jewelry inside that she has on her list. The only true toy she has asked for is a hatchimal wow. Bath bombs are high on her list as well.
I may also get her a nicer jewelry box with a necklace hanger because all of her necklaces get tangled when she just lays them on her dresser.
I’m finding this year difficult because my older two are growing out of toys, but aren’t really to the point where they want clothes for a gift. We already have a ton of toys so it’s hard to find new ideas for my four year old.
My 9 year old son also has the most expensive gifts, but he has less to open even though I’ve definitely spent more on him than my girls. He’s getting a couple video games and a new telescope so it adds up much faster than the small gifts my girls want.

Do you happen to have a link to the MP3 player? And do you happen to know, can you download any games on it like you can on an iPod? Ds was using dh's old iPod, but we had to factory re-set it, and now it's so old you can't download anything to it anymore. Dd recently asked for an iPod after seeing a girl at dance with one, but we ruled that out unless that was her ONLY big gift, and she also really wanted the Gizmo watch, and we liked that better since it allows us to contact her. But a cheaper MP3 player might be a great option!
And I'm LOLing at your list because most of it is the stuff we got for ds that dd had NO interest in...like a hydroflask and earbuds that look like air pods (but were only $20 luckily), and a ripstick. I wish dd would want any of that!

My DD will be 8 in the spring. She asked for Descendents dolls, a 3ft tall Little Mermaid doll. We saw Frozen 2 and she loved it, so I also got her the Frozen jewelry box Lego set. She's also getting the Hogwarts Lego set. Legos are her thing though. I did scrunchies, nail polish, and unicorn slime for her stocking.
You have to plug it in to transfer files, but I think they have a Bluetooth one too. He basically only uses it for audiobooks from the library, and since it’s not connected to the internet the audio files never go away when the audiobook gets returned. I think out of all the gifts we’ve given our kids over the years this has gotten the most use. He plugs it into his little CD player in his room and listens to it through the speakers every night to fall asleep, he wanders around the house with headphones constantly just listening to books. It’s great.
