I'm sitting on 4000 points and a 20% off coupon.I also feel like I'm in a rut and want to change things up. Suggestions for:
- Medium coverage foundation? My skin has changed from formerly oily to more normal/dry. I use Perricone No Foundation Foundation serum for every day or It Cosmetics CC cream, but I'd like a true medium coverage foundation.
-Primer? Large crater-like pores. I've used Benefit Porefessional for years, but wouldn't mind trying something new.
-Makeup brushes? I have a few RT face brushes and It for Ulta eye brushes I like, but wouldn't mind trying something new/better.
Anything else fun? I'm set on hair tools and skincare.

I’ve been using The Balm’s honey primer. It’s fine. I have always been a fan of the Smashbox primers because I get a million samples of them. Products I’ve been loving since I got in October: Morphe Jaclyn Hill Ring the Alarm and Armed and Gorgeous. Can’t get enough of them! imobviouslystaying is a fan of Juvia’s Place eye shadows which are on sale— there are some nice looking palettes as well as some fun bright ones. I want to get some magnetic eyelashes. Unfortunately, none of the brushes I would recommend are sold at Ulta.

I feel like I've tried every foundation ever made, and I still don't really have a favorite. I do really like the Makeup Forever Ultra HD. Have you tried that one? Probably not what you're looking for, but after years of spending upwards of $60 per bottle of foundation, I've seriously been using the Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless foundation for the past year, and I love it and get compliments on my skin all the time. Plus it's like $6 and I can pick it up at the grocery store when I run out.
The best primer I've ever used is the Becca Ever Matte Poreless Priming Perfector. You use a pea sized amount and dab it on (if you rub it in it will ball up). It's amazing stuff.
Most of my makeup brushes are MAC, and I'm not sure if Ulta sells them. I also have an IT Cosmetics brush that's really good.
I love the Becca backlight primer, but the matte one might be a good bet for larger pores. I use primer + CoverFx foundation drops, which has worked well for years. It lets me control the level of coverage. The CoverFx primers are really good too, so you may want to check those out.
Brushes- the IT brushes are good. I personally don't like the IT cosmetics for Ulta brushes but the higher end IT cosmetic brushes I've bought have been good.
In terms of hair care, I'm really into Dry Bar stuff right now. I avoided it for years because it's a bit more scented then I prefer, but my nose has adjusted and their products are fabulous. The soda shine mist might be a new holy grail of mine. It reduces frizz and adds shine with no added weight or grease.
