Happy Festivus, Happy Hanukkah, and Merry Christmas!
I hope you all are able to take some time off of work and enjoy the festivities!
I'm at work today, but I get Tues and Wed off. We're having a potluck at work, and I brought pretzels and some dip from a local grocery store called "Bitchin' Sauce." I also printed out a couple of memes from Seinfeld to honor Festivus (which is today, the 23rd!). One is of George saying "These pretzels are making me thirsty," and the other is of Frank (George's dad on the show) saying, "I've got a lot of problems with you people! And now you're gonna hear about it!" It's made a few people chuckle so far.
Tomorrow we're going to talk to MIL & FIL then SIL on the phone to let them know we're pregnant, and on Xmas we're letting my family know. I'm excited and my usual anxious/nervous, but overall, pretty good.

I recently received a diagnosis of cholestasis so they are moving my c-section up to week 37 (currently I'm 36 weeks). We will need to coordinate visiting grandparents, but I can't seem to get my docs to nail down a day/time. I don't know if their offices will be open tomorrow or not. It's all getting very stressful. And there is still plenty to be done before this baby arrives. Oddly, though, I'm feeling pretty chill about the whole thing. I think I'm in denial.
As far as the holidays are concerned, we are very prepared. I need to wrap a few gifts, but otherwise I am ready to celebrate. I love Christmas and this year DS (age almost 3) is really fun and into Santa, presents, lights, etc. I can't believe next year we will have an almost 1 year old, too.
I have to wash the kids new Xmas eve jammies and wrap a few things but other than that I’m ready! We will bake cookies and watch Xmas movies tomorrow. I LOVE Christmas and seeing how excited my kids are is the best.
My husband has the week off so we are finally making nursery progress. CS is in 5 weeks.

My first official day of break and I took a glorious nap! I don’t think we are sharing the news with anyone over Christmas. Our families are local so we’ll do some visiting but not too much running around which is nice.
Had an appointment today, nice strong heartbeat and I was in and out before my appointment time even hit, the office was super slow, though my nurse said the morning was busy. Next appointment will have an ultrasound to check position, which I didn’t get with DS so it’ll be nice to see her again!
Christmas we are going to a friends for dinner, my mom is staying over tomorrow night and we will FaceTime with the ILs Christmas morning so they can see DS open their gifts.
Tomorrow my mom is watching DS so H and I can go see Star Wars in the afternoon once H leaves work- his office closes at lunch. We have tickets to the luxury theater and got end seats since there’s no way my bladder makes it through the whole thing without a break haha.
Besides baking some cookies tomorrow, I am all ready for Christmas. I still have some things to wrap for DD and put together H’s stocking, but that’s it!
I'm waiting on the last of the Christmas presents to be delivered from Amazon this afternoon. I thought we were all done and then I realized we didn't get anything for our dog (Santa always brings something for him) and that 90% of DSs presents were clothes. lol So I got him a couple of 'fun' things for Santa to set out. I also ordered a couple things for myself because, why not?
I had my 28 week appointment yesterday and did the glucose test. I'm convinced I failed. My blood pressure was higher than normal when they checked about 20 min after I drank the drink and my heart was racing. I probably won't find out results until Thursday at the earliest bc of the holiday.

psychmom oh man I hope you didn’t! I had to do the 1 hour twice last time because of my PCOS once around 12 weeks and once at the regular time. I’m sort of hoping that I can get by with just the one this time since it was well managed with the metformin last time.

We’re home for Christmas and will host my family here for dinner (which is at like 1pm). Just need to wrap a few presents and we’ll be ready for tomorrow. I’m rather frustrated with DH and his new job right now, so I’m hoping the new year brings relief.
I had my 32week appointment yesterday and was in the office for 1.5h, so so annoying. My blood pressure was what I would consider high for me 129/something (I usually hover around 110/60) but I forgot to ask the doctor because I was so concerned about getting out of there and back to my kids. I’m enjoying feeling baby move so very much and I’m so ready for him to be here, but I’m dreading the newborn phase a bit because DH doesn’t handle lack of sleep well at all, so it all falls on me, and with three under 4, I might collapse.

Starting weekly biophysical US this week, I’m not sure how I’m going to work this into my already busy work schedule, but will make it work. Anyone know how long these take?
DH is out of town for work through Thursday (he’s Hindu from India so Christmas doesn’t mean a lot to him) so I’m kinda of bummed that he won’t be celebrating with us, but I’m glad this trip is now and not mid to late January since I’m most likely going to be induced the end of January beginning of February.
I did get all of the baby clothes, blankets and sheets washed and started packing my hospital bag today so I feel like I accomplished something.
