I bought myself the Natasha Denona Mini Gold palette and I love it so much. I also got a gift set of Dr Jart products and so far like everything in it. Might replace my usual Clinique moisturizer with a Dr Jart one now lol.

I'm using an Amope foot mask right now - I hope it works because it feels gross.
Otherwise, I just got replacement basics in my stocking. I'm sitting on a lot of points. I have to spend $40 at Ulta and then I'm going to use my points in 2020.

I got the Revlon hair thingy (from myself), it is really awesome. But you know, I am super lazy so I'll probably only straighten my hair once or twice a month but now I can actually do it!

I'm loving my Astral Blitz. It is so good. I've been using it solo, but I also have a MUFE 9 pan neutral palette from a few years ago that is a perfect compliment to it.

H got me a DE The Littles set, ie the one that's just all the sample sizes of all the products. He saw all my DE stuff in the bathroom, looked up DE on Sephora's website, was like "WTF I don't know how to pick something" and just ordered the travel set, LOL.

I love the DryBar one I got. I also cannot believe how good my hair looks with it. The reviews suggest that the Revlon one is as good, so I definitely overpaid, but at least it kept me platinum for another year and I racked up points.

Speaking of that, did you see that it is now $500 for platinum? I am not sure I will make it to platinum for 2021. I am so stocked on things that I am only replacing HG items. If it is something new and exciting to try, Ulta isn't carrying it.

Oh that really sucks. I only hit it this year because this item put me over the edge. Sephora carries all the fun stuff. I'm basically buying hair products and a couple makeup basics, like primer and Gimme Brow there. I used to buy Jack Black for H, but H is on some other product kick and that brand isn't sold at Ulta. Plus I have 3000 points.

I really wish Sephora had better rewards.

Ulta upped the platinum threshold? Crap! I likely won't hit it for 2021, seeing as how they seem to carry less and less that I really want. (Though I can't tell you what the threshold was before, lol)

And why does Sephora's program suck so much in comparison?

yeah, i noticed the new/higher spending level for platinum at ulta too. i will probably still make it since i get my hair cut/colored there so that adds up fast, even only going every three months (instead of 8 weeks like she always wants to talk me into).

i got the little lipstick set from urban decay and a laura mercier eye shadow palette i threw on my wishlist on a whim, both from DH. but he says he pulled up my list and then let our 5 year old pick which items to get, lol.

in my final purchase to hit rouge (extra 20% off on sale items, my favorite sale of the year) i got a few of the sephora collection mask sticks, a fancy candle, a cute penguin themed set and a fenty lipstick. now that we are back home after traveling i'm excited to get things out and play with new stuff!!

I got Huda Beauty's The New Nude Palette and have used it a few times already. I really love this palette.

I saw the spending increase for both platinum and diamond at Ulta. *two thumbs down* I restock my normal stuff based on who has the best prices- between Ulta, Sephora, DermStore, etc. i doubt I'll be able to make platinum again, but if i do, it will be because i was on the ball with coupons and extra point promos.

My goal for 2020 is to not hit platinum/diamond or VIB/Rouge. I NEED ZERO THINGS. I have been watching budgeting videos instead of beauty videos. I'm excited, but I failed at my 'no buy' last year. It turned into more of a "don't go a day without buying" year. I started the year off being good, but 3 months in all hell broke loose. LOL NOT good.

I did buy the Anastasia eye palette vault on black Friday. I had been wanting Soft Glam for a long time but refused to buy it without a deal. They had that and MR packaged together for about the price of one palette. I had neither of those so I got it. I do love them both. I think I only bought 4 eye palettes all year (which actually is excessive considering what I already owned). I also bought Fresh and a Youth to the People skincare sets. I was more into face palettes, skincare, nail stuff and hair stuff this past year.

Yes. It was $350 just a few years ago. This is bs!

I haven’t bought any significant makeup or new skin care this year. Just refills for the most part.

But I have spent a LOT on hair care, trying to figure out what products work best for curly hair. Ouidad Playcurl is great for waves, btw.

I didn’t think diamond changed? How much did it change by?
