Got this framed for Christmas, and hung it this afternoon! It's a lot more "traditional" in style than I had planned but I really liked it. The frame looks black in the photo but it's actually dark brown with bronze highlights.
It’s lovely! Have you used the tub? Do you like it? We need to tub shop eventually.
Small note - Could be the angle of your photo but it looks a tad off center (like it needs to move a bit to the left)
Yeah, I need to measure tomorrow...it's centered across three studs (it's really heavy) and I *think* it's centered to the room, and it's actually the tub grab bar that's off-center. I figured I'd wait and see how much it bothers me but I can always just hang it on the left and middle hooks since it's on a wire. :-)
ETA: Fixed!
I use the tub almost every day -- I'm a bath-a-holic, especially in winter. I really do like it. The caveats are that I'm 5 feet 0 inches, so what's comfy for me may not work for everyone, and it's not actually that deep for a soaking tub. But it's just the right size for me, I like the material it's made of -- it's not too cold or anything when you first get in -- and the angle of the back is actually really comfortable for resting your head, which I was really worried about. I was really hesitant to buy a tub without being able to test it out, but even the big showrooms had so few models on display, I was really only able to use them to figure out length. This one was from Wayfair. I guess if I had one quibble with it it's that the drain is centered...I liked the look of that better, but hadn't realized that it's relatively easy to accidentally pop the drain open when you're moving around. It's better now that I'm aware of it, but some of the ones with off-center drains may be better in that regard. Some people had issues with the lightness of the material (it's fiberglass) and I can feel it move a little. Some people caulk it to their tile but I thought that would be a bigger mess if it was caulked and then broke free so I'm just careful not to tip it too much getting in or out, and the grab bar is a big help for that. It's definitely steady enough that I can rest a foot on it while drying off or whatever.
