We’re looking into doing a quick trip to Puerto Rico for February break. Me, H, our 6 year old and our then 11 month old. H thinks a hotel by the beach is sufficient, but I’d really prefer a resort with cabanas, spa, etc. I’m a SAHM and desperately want a break from the kids, lol.
Any recs near San Juan that aren’t $400+ a night? Or should we just suck it up and splurge? We haven’t had a real family vacation in forever, and our marriage has been rocky, so I prefer to be as relaxing as possible.
We stayed at Bahia Beach, which was about 20-25 minutes from San Juan. We didn't stay in the hotel (which is a St. Regis and I assume very expensive), but in an AirBnB condo in the resort. It was awesome!
"Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you've got a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies-"God damn it, you've got to be kind.”

That sounds great! We might actually prefer a baby proofed Airbnb to hotel.
