FI is taking me on a "birthday" surprise thing tonight. I'm not sure what we're doing, but it involves a little bit of a drive, wine and me wearing flip flops?

Tomorrow we see the last 2 houses in our search and try to make a decision on what would be best for us. We're also heading to a brewery tour and to see a band play.

I am spraying my starter plants with jalapeno pepper spray to hopefully deter the chipmonks that want to eat them. Preparing my garden space and keeping my puppy awake. She has decided to be a night owl and was up all last night.

My FI and I took the day off and we're going to go for a drive and possibly stop at a nature preserve and go for a walk. It's beautiful weather so we're going to take advantage of it.

Sweet D - we used a hot pepper/garlic spray on our plants last summer and it worked really well.

Happy birthday, DL. When's the day? Are you twinsies with ESD? Your FI sounds really thoughtful in the way he chooses gifts for you.

Sweetd- The spray can work, but it also may turn your leaves a little spotty. They are fine, but not pretty. Another thing I've tried is hanging rags socked in vinegar around my plants. I did it all at the same time, so I don't know what it was that worked. I think you should experiment and report back.

Last night, DD went to this program at the YMCA and we went out to dinner and a couple of bars. DH has to work today and tomorrow. My right foot is in a cast, so I can't drive. My mom was talking about driving up to our house tomorrow, but today DD and I are just relaxing.
