I start my Boston Marathon long runs tomorrow (Organized with a group; I have been doing long runs on my own so far) so today I am going to do yoga and maybe take a walk.
I am up but waiting a couple of hours to ride. There is a line of rain that should move through by 11:00. I don't know if I'll hit gravel or ride on the road from home. It depends on how bad the wind is later; temperatures are expected to fall after the rain. I have no other plans other than going to the grocery store and stopping by the bike shop to talk about something.
I’m up and being a bit lazy before doing 12 today. With life getting in the way these past couple of weeks I haven’t done a long run for a bit so this one should be interesting.
I’ve also gotten into listening to podcasts when my runs get boring - anyone have any running-related ones to recommend?

I just finished a run through downtown along the lake and river and have a great "I love my city" feeling the whole time. Now I'm settled into working from a coffee shop for the afternoon while H is watching DD.

Happy Saturday everyone! sadlebred - how did your ride turn out?
I got the dogs out for a nice slow run/hike (my old lady only goes so far and so fast) and then dropped them off at home and continued on my own for a few more miles around the trails and up the canyon. It was an absolutely beautiful day and I enjoyed every minute of it, even if I probably did go a tad hard on the climbs. Nothing beats a 68*, sunny, muddy trail run in shorts and tank top in January.
Now waiting for H to get home from backcountry skiing so we can eat the soup I threw in the crockpot before heading out. It smells good and it's taunting me.
The sun came out and the roads dried around 1:00. I got in 2 good hours, but the wind kicked in at 20+ mph the last 3 minutes. I'm still cold! Better than a trainer ride!
