1. How far along are you? 34+2
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? My aching back I’m basically one big walking complaint right now. Trying to be positive because I am also so sad this is my last pregnancy
3. Questions for the group? Am I going to survive 3 under 4?

1. How far along are you? 35 weeks 4 days
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? My blood pressure is high and I am waiting for a call back from my ob office. They aren’t very quick to respond and it irritates me. It’s an ob office—people sometimes have urgent matters! I'm tired and just generally uncomfortable so my temper is a bit short lately.
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? Lower back pain has definitely picked up in the last week which sucks, especially as I’m trying to get the house prepped. We’ve decided to have a housekeeper our friends use come through but that means I’m purging and organizing like crazy so that things are cleared off enough for her to work.
3. Questions for the group?
4. Any new years resolutions? I’m not really a resolution person though if we get the house looking good I’d like to do better at maintaining that, but priority 1 is surviving the newborn phase. Sleep when the baby sleeps doesn’t work when the toddler is awake, soooooo this time around may be even more sleep deprived haha.
1. 16w 2. I finally feel some flutters when I am sitting or laying down. I cant wait for the big kicks and belly rolls. I hope this baby is as active as DS was. Vent - my back is starting to kill me and my pubic symphysis is already starting to act up. I had it with DS pretty bad but only near the end. 3. Nope 4. To only buy my lunch a maximum of one day a week. Also be more mindful of my spending since I will be going on a long maternity leave again and then will have 2 kids in daycare.
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? DS is finally back at school so I can relax during the day. His bus stop is now down the block from our house which is a game changer. Today I am super exhausted.
3. Questions for the group? What’s your fave nursing tank? Preferably one that can be bought on Amazon or Target.

1. How far along are you? 29w
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? The last week has been tough for me. I failed my 1 hour glucose test, I'm still super constipated, and today at the grocery store I started having bad lower back pain. It was bad enough that I almost abandoned my cart and left. It got better when I was able to sit down for a while at home. DS went back to school today and I had big plans to get so much done, but I guess things will have to wait. My 3 hour glucose test is tomorrow and I really hope I pass.
3. Questions for the group? None this week.
4. Any new years resolutions? My goal is to upload my favorite photos once a month so that it's super easy to make a photo album at the end of the year. I failed to make an album for 2014-2019 and have grand plans of getting those years done before DD arrives, but I'm not putting too much pressure on myself.

1. How far along are you? 8 weeks, HELLO!
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? So I had my first appointment scheduled for this week and it falls within a single 30 minute span where I have something important to do at work. I've called every day to reschedule. Right now the earliest is 1/23. I called a practice I was considering switching to anyways, the earliest is 1/29. I'll be 11 weeks by then and honestly seems dangerous considering I've already reported to practice one with lots of spotting. So I have to call every day for a cancellation
3. Questions for the group? How active is this group? What are you good at, what has been challenging
4. Any new years resolutions? I want to end the year weighing less than I started, which will be hard considering the pregnancy, but still a good goal
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? DS is finally back at school so I can relax during the day. His bus stop is now down the block from our house which is a game changer. Today I am super exhausted.

4. Any new years resolutions? Nope.
I liked targets cotton nursing tanks. Gillian O malley or something?
No support, but I always needed a bra underneath even in the tanks that “support”

1. How far along are you? - 22 +2
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? It’s a girl!
3. Questions for the group? How do I explain to DS that he’s got a sibling coming? He’s about 19 months. I want to prepare him as best I can but I don’t think he can grasp much just yet.

1. How far along are you? 8w2d
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? First appointment and ultrasound on Friday.
3. Questions for the group? If you have older children that would understand pregnancy (and loss) when did you tell them? My dd is 4. We’ve only told our close friends but no family. Mostly because we are a little fearful to tell her.
4. Any new years resolutions? Not really. 2020 will be a stretch financially for sure.
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? Just left my NT scan, and the LO was looking good! They were moving a lot, so the still photos are blurry but it was fun to watch them move so much and they look like a little human and not like a blob from the week 8 u/s. They stuck their tongue out several times, it was pretty cute. I also had my blood drawn for the Cell-free DNA test and other tests. I'll be finding out soon if they're a he or a she, and if they are as healthy as they were acting.
3. Questions for the group? Have any of you known anyone who had an incorrect sex reported from the cell-free DNA test? I've already had a couple of people tell me that they had a friend of a friend get an incorrect result, but I'm wondering if that's just an old wives tale people like to repeat.
4. Any new years resolutions? Have a boring and healthy pregnancy and delivery. Not sure how much control I'll actually have over those things, but a gal can dream!
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? Mountain cedar season is in full swing and I might die. OMG it's so bad. I passed my 3 hr glucose test last week! I'm up to biweekly appointments now and I'll have a growth ultrasound in 4 weeks. I can't wait to get a peek at baby girl!
3. Questions for the group? How many outfits for the baby are you bringing with you to the hospital?
madDawg228 - I’ve also only heard of friend of a friend stories, none directly from a friend either, just online. I think there may have been a very few instances but there was likely an underlying issue with mom or baby. Or really low fetal dna.
I’m waiting for labs for Cholestasis. The first set has come back fine but we are waiting on more. I melted down at the dr today. I woke up to the news of the death of a family friend so that had me shaken, and then I spoke with her about all my fears about something being wrong with the baby. She got me right in for a nst and bio physical profile. Baby girl did not pass her first nst but the ultrasound looked great. She passed the second nst. I was so lucky because my 2yo was perfect the whole time. I was there for 3.5 hours. Also we are about 90% ready for her to come. Only 3 more weeks!!
tiptoetulips we waited until after my 12w ultrasound and we got the harmony bloodwork back. My daughter is 2.5 so there was no big announcement, just a gradual buildup of what’s to come.
madDawg228 I’ve heard the same, where people reported they know of someone who had it wrong. I asked my OB plus every ultrasound tech I’ve had if they’ve ever seen it happen and they all said no. I still had the tech verify each time though
Maybe those people did one of those tests from amazon vs the nipt at the doctors office.

psychmom I brought 2 in different sizes. We didn’t dress her until discharge. She just wore hospital wear until it was time to go. Too many checkups/diaper changes etc. we needed that skin to skin too she was so sleepy and hard to nurse. I didn’t want to fool with clothes.
tiptoetulips, I would wait until after your NT scan &/or chromosomal bloodwork. Chances are overwhelmingly in your favor that everything is 100% fine, but with your dd’s age, I wouldn’t feel comfortable before that.
We had a 2nd tri loss (just shy of 15 wks) in June. (I just pop in from time to time to see how the other girls I was pregnant with are doing). Anyway, dd had just turned 2 when we found out we were pregnant, and I really wanted DH to not talk about it with her until after our Panorama test, but he was excited and did anyway. Our Panorama test came back high risk, and when T18 was confirmed, we terminated due to the bleak outlook not just of the disorder, but what we were seeing with our son’s particular case. (He was already increasingly growth restricted and the specialist said she would be shocked if I even made it out of the 2nd tri.) Even at 2, dd continued to ask about the baby in my belly for a month or two.
psychmom - I think for DS I packed 2 newborns and 1 0-3/3 months in case the new born was too small. We had him mostly in a diaper and a swaddle for our hospital stay for lots of skin to skin and all the check ups and only dressed him up when we left the hospital.

1. How far along are you? 15w
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? My back is killing me. I think I did something while sleeping. Even though I use multiple pillows I think I am going to try a pregnancy specific one. Any recommendations?
3. Questions for the group?
4. Any new years resolutions? I am not a resolution maker, but the new year has coincided with 2nd tri and my goal is to feel more like me and more human in the coming weeks.
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? I am still feeling pretty good and walking a lot now. I’m happy to be back to exercising more now that I’m “full-term” and I know our pups are happy with more exercise too! I’ve got my first cervix check Friday as well as the strep B test.
3. Questions for the group? None this week.
4. Any new years resolutions? I don’t usually make them, I’d like to try to work to be kind and gentle with myself as I learn to be a mom and balance life.
2. Pregnancy-related AW/vents/randoms for the week? It’s a girl!
3. Questions for the group? How do I explain to DS that he’s got a sibling coming? He’s about 19 months. I want to prepare him as best I can but I don’t think he can grasp much just yet.
4. Any new years resolutions? Noooope.
So my DD will be turning 2 around my due date. Only like the past month or 2 she will kiss my belly and say I love you. I’m not entirely sure she really understands though. She saw the new crib in the new baby’s room and asked where is baby and I said in my belly and she just continued on with her toys. We just keep repeating and talking about baby coming.

Maybe when the nursery gets more put together.
His speech isn’t that advanced yet, so it’s kind of hard to figure out what he’s getting and isn’t.

ETA- My dd will be 2 in three weeks. At 19 months she wasn’t talking anywhere near this much. Language seems to explode between 18-24 months. So he will likely express more over the next few months!
