I am heading out shortly for 10 miles. 7 of the miles are an organized run, and then I am adding on after. It is supposed to be warm today ( 60, warm by New England standards) so I am looking forward to today's run. I have been told the course is hard, but I am up for the challenge.
I'm back from 5 miles, about to head out for swim with the kids. And then with this crazy ass weather we might actually ride our bikes.... outside?!?! And then a party at a friend's house tonight and watching football.
I'm going to fall asleep halfway through this game...
I’m here, but I’m undecided what I’m doing today. My plan says 12, but I did 12 last week and my legs are SORE this morning, so I think I may just do 8-10. I figure that won’t hurt me too much since the race is actually next weekend.
It was supposed to rain all day, but the radar is clear. I'm going to try to get in 90 minutes-2 hours on the rail trail. It did rain overnight & the trail will be slick, so I'm going to take my gravel bike.
Husband works all weekend so I’m solo. Went to the gym with the little ones and had a good IT band hip/glute strength series and arm series. Rushed out to get them out of child care, run home and get the oldest out of bed, carpooled to practice. Currently in a bubble bath awaiting groceries. Meal prep and library later, then watch the game.
Dry January (while it sucks at times) has me feeling SO good. I feel refreshed, full of energy, and clear headed.

I enjoyed a lazy morning and am now heading out for 5/6ish. I have intervals on the schedule but it snowed last night and there’s winds up to 20mph so things may go awry!

Sounds like great weekends!
I have some kind of sinus/ear infection thing going on so I'm on strict "no run" orders from my coach and I'm ANTSY. Took the dogs out for a short hike this afternoon to at least enjoy the sun and be outside for a bit. H is back up on the GPS hunt with a friend of his today. Hoping for some good news when he gets home.
Otherwise, I'm glued to my computer all weekend working on grant proposals. Lots of big deadlines coming up for really important (and cool) programs that I'm really hoping I get funded through.

YES! I thought about breaking this past week already (preparing for an upcoming cross-country move and Dry January don’t exactly go hand in hand) but I’m still holding on. It feels so good!

I met friends for a trail run this morning. It was 65 degrees when we finished, which is crazy for January. My body was so confused and I got a little dehydrated, but it was fine. Now I’m drinking and eating cookies.

I played Ring Fit Adventure for about an hour. I definitely belong in the camp of people who thought it would be easy and who are eating their words. Plus it's a lot of fun!
Also, DH and I have been discussing getting a peloton bike. He wants to look in to some financial stuff, but we should have an answer by Wednesday. Fingers crossed!
I was supposed to hit up Zwift today and do strength. I had some really aggressive dry needling done yesterday, and I felt a little off, so I decided to swap it with tomorrow.
We went for a family hike this morning (1.5 hours wearing the baby) and then I did a 5 mile trail run. Such a crazy beautiful January day!
I was in a tank and capris (wanted shorts but couldn't find the ones I wanted to wear) and my friends were still all bundled up in snow hats! When we started our run it was almost 60 and was really warm in the sun
